We are a practical school who work to get you in front of the camera! We work in the industry, we run a school, agency and work in productions, shooting feature films, TV shows, commercials and more! We teach you acting covering a wide range of techniques – including method, Meisner, Stanislavski and Chekov. We put our training into practice with regular shoots, but we also cover the business side of acting and you leave many of our courses with showreel footage, credits, headshots and 98% of our students gain agency representation.

We are passionate about working hard to train and inspire our coaches to help the next generation of gymnasts that come through the door. All of coaches are trained to a high standards through a variety of courses to enable the gymnasts to have the best experience with us. We are working on our coach development to enable the club to expand the number of sessions we run throughout the year to address the demand for this amazing sport. EGC offers a range of gymnastic disciplines including Women’s & Men’s Artistic, and Adult Gymnastics and Pre School Gymnastics for those who would like to give gymnasts a try. Anyone is welcome to come and visit the club, to meet the coaching staff and see what we are all about, we are very proud of our club and facilities. Who Are We? We are based in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire offering access to Gymnastics, and fitness activities for children and adults of all abilities at an affordable rate. Managed as a non-profit business the company uses funds raised to further the aims of the club – for example purchasing new equipment, assisting with coach education or subsiding event costs for gymnasts. We receive no long term funding from the Local Authority to meet our running costs. As a result all of our operating costs are met exclusively by the fees from our members, the dedication, time and commitment from our volunteers and through the fundraising efforts of the club, staff and parents.

Welcome to Yoga Soc! Our society is a big family of Yogis (of all abilities!!) practising yoga and mindfulness in a non-judgemental environment... and having a laugh while doing it! Every week, we hold yoga and mindfulness sessions free for our members and this year we will be offering both in-person and online classes (so there really is no excuse not to get involved!!). These sessions are super varied: one week we’re meditating in silence, the next we’re burning off our uni stress in a high-intensity class. …I’ve been painting almost all my life, as I didn’t stop when I left school. There were many years when I’d only do the odd sketch or painting as ‘real life’ took over, but I always wanted more. Once I’d made the decision to try to realise my childhood ambitions I gave myself up to it as completely as real life would allow. It’s taken a long time, but now I make art part of my daily life. Even though …It’s now ‘the job’, I still get a big kick out of drawing and painting. There’s nothing better that looking at what you’ve achieved and see it looking back at you. Knowing exhibition sales help with animal conservation is another bonus, but it’s equally exciting to get a pet portrait commission from someone, as it is to sell something in exhibition. A lot of my time is spent teaching art, mostly to retired people. I Believe …art plays a very important role in keeping people healthy. As a teaching Artist, I want to share my life-times experience of art with other people so they can enjoy it too. My workshops and classes are growing in popularity and it’s very satisfying, knowing people are choosing to learn from me. I’d toyed with the idea of teaching art for many years, but it wasn’t until after my dad died that I decided to give it a go.
