We are a not-for-profit organisation delivering our services across the South West. For over 25-years, CSW whilst uncovering learning and work opportunities for thousands of people, has adapted to meet market demand and changing government policies to develop a broad portfolio of provision. We support businesses, young people and adults through key transition points. We deliver services that build aspiration and turn it into achievement, unlocking potential and developing individuals and organisations. Our team is motivated by the belief that support means more than a shoulder to lean on. We provide each individual with unfaltering attention, empowering them to make a lasting positive change. We aim to provide longer-term support that goes way beyond one-off contact. It is this commitment and dedication that has allowed us to achieve such fantastic results. CSW is contracted by the Local Authorities of Devon County Council, Cornwall Council, Plymouth City Council, Torbay Council and Somerset County Council to assist them in meeting their Statutory Duties under the Education and Skills Act 2008. These duties relate to the provision of services to encourage, enable or assist young people in effectively participating in education or training. To do this we are required to undertake tracking activities and to provide information to the DfE and the Local Authority in respect of personal information; individual characteristics and the current activities of young people aged 13-19.

A Composers' Viewpoint CDP members are deeply involved in the current huge shifts in music-making. As an organisation we place the emphasis on sound transformation in creative musical contexts. Our aim is to provide new computer tools for sound design, in which the emphasis is on a detailed and flexible access to the inner features of sounds. Our goal is to help composers work with sounds. To this end, numerous programs are semi-algorithmic in nature, such as the segmentation routines and the Texture Set, which shape whole multi-event passages of music – 'semi-algorithmic' in this context means ways to adjust both individual parameters and multiple events over time.) In other words, CDP is not just focused on 'DSP' functions (digital signal processing), nor on sequencing or audio editing, and not at all with sound synthesis: other software handles these things nicely. CDP focuses on transforming existing sounds (musique concrète) and how they might be shaped over time to create anything from a single complex sound or gesture, to an extended soundscape or composition. In doing this, we mainly adopt the composer's viewpoint and seek to create a mutually supportive environment in which practising composers can help each other, both in designing software tools and in using them effectively. We believe in and depend on the crucial importance of the composer's ability to hear music not only before it is written, but even before the means to produce it are available.

A non profit CIC, we strive to lead by example, inspire and empower, raise aspirations and improve individual and community wellbeing, Seadream offers a fantastic variety of tailored workshops and activities – some fully funded and we facilitate public engagement and effective collaboration. We strive to source funding which enables us to deliver accessible STEM outreach programmes, workshops and activities to the wider community, across cities and rural locations, adapting programmes to suit all needs. Understanding and respect for the world around us underpins Seadream Education and drives positive outcomes within and throughout the community. Although we are a non-profit organisation we have a desire to grow, to generate a steady income stream, to build the security needed to employ more staff, to have better resources and to have a greater impact. SALT South West is a Plymouth-based Christian voluntary organisation ( known as SAIFLINE until 2006), offering direct help to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. SALT is a member agency of The Survivors’ Trust and our Co-ordinator is a member of TAG (Trauma and Abuse Group). We are accountable to our Management Committee of five and have a Council of Reference which includes an MP, a Bishop, another Minister of Religion and a media presenter. We are currently a team of ten members, two of whom are counselling students and three of whom are currently paid part-time (Team Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator and Administrator). Our volunteer listeners have all undertaken the in-house SALT training, some have various counselling qualifications including specific sexual abuse/trauma related subjects. Some members of our team are survivors and bring with them personal experience and knowledge. Supervision is fundamental to our work and each listener receives a minimum of one and a half hours every four weeks. We are a close team and there is always the opportunity to share and offload inbetween when necessary. (Which is often the case in our field of work). Our Annual Away Day gives us a chance to meet outside of work to share, explore and be refreshed as people, not just as co-workers. Behind the scenes, our 60 prayer partners have the important role of supporting us and we meet together once a year. SALT works with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, age 16 and above. Everyone is received by us regardless of background, belief or behaviour. Our services are free of charge but donations are always welcomed. We do not want anyone to be excluded from receiving good quality psychological help.
