AUDE is run by an executive committee of university directors of estates that provides strategic oversight to the organisation. They make recommendations on several of the association aspects such as subscription fees and the annual budget as well as managing the election of office holders. Members vote at the AGM to apply or amend recommendations, and elect the officers. The executive committee meets four times a year, discussing and responding to matters presented by the fellow directors (directly and through regional chairs), and by the executive director and staff team. The committee receives the executive director’s quarterly report, which contains updates from each of the topic-based working groups. The meetings are also used to discuss and act on the organisation’s financial performance throughout the year. Furthermore, the meetings provide a useful sounding board and guide to the executive director, Jane White, and the AUDE team in determining the services provided to members and projects undertaken. The team comprises of five members of staff employed on permanent contracts: Executive Director (1.0 FTE) Projects and Engagement Manager (1.0FTE) Events Manager (0.8 FTE) Communications Officer (0.5 FTE) Events and Projects Officer (0.8 FTE) AUDE is a not-for-profit organisation and receives its core funding from member institution subscriptions and training and development activities. It is sustainable, with healthy financial reserves in line with its agreed financial model.

DERBY JAZZ is a not for profit organization which supports and develops jazz in and around Derby. It's been continuously active since 1982 and became a Limited Company (No. 4946215) in 2003. Since its inception Derby Jazz has worked in partnership with a number of organisations to promote performances and workshops, commission new music and develop local artists. It is supported by funds from East Midlands Jazz CIC, which is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. Derby Jazz has a number of partners include; BabyPeople, Deda, Derby City Council, Derby LIVE, Derby Museums, Derby Theatre, Derbyshire Music Education Hub, EMJAZZ, Northern Lights Cinema Wirksworth and University of Derby.

We are Life Education East Midlands and we were formed on the 1st April 2022 following the amalgamation of Life Education Nottinghamshire and Life Education Northamptonshire. From the 1st August 2022 Life Education East Midlands were delighted to be joined by Life Education Leicestershire. We are a specialist charity provider of high quality health, well-being and drug prevention education working with primary schools across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our aim is to equip young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to make choices that will help them to live healthier, happier lives. We are a delivery partner of Coram life Education, the UK’s leading health and drug education organisation. Bringing health and well-being to life, our regularly updated programmes, keeping in line with demand and trends, have been created by child development experts to be stimuli-rich and interactive. This is achieved through puppetry, role play, and film clips to capture children’s imaginations and develop critical thinking and risk management skills.
