The organisation was founded by Imam Zeeshan Qayum who graduated from the famous seminary Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya, Bury. After graduating he has governed in structuring many Madaaris across London and has been able to offer a range of skills which he acquired whilst working as an Imam and in high profile roles in the civil service. Currently, Garden of Knowledge is run under the guidance of Hadhrat Mufti Ibrahim Raja Saheb (Senior lecturer of Hadith, Darul Uloom, Bury) and many other senior esteemed Scholars. We aim to provide a range of services that will, Insha Allah, be accessible for all members of every community across London and help to fill in any missing gaps we may have in learning the Deen of Al-Islam.

Girls Empowerment Initiative UK CIC is a Community Interest Company based in Basildon, Thurrock and Essex. We are a non-profit voluntary organisation investing in programmes that providespecialist services to empowerBAME girls and young women aged 0 to 21to prevent and protect them risk of harmful cultural practices, beliefs and attitudes. Our aim is support to victims of such practices in sharing their experiences, seeking early support, and never falling victim again. Girls Empowerment Initiative UK CIC has mobilized a team of experts to provide highly specialized support in this field, which is generally unrecognized and poorly understood in the UK. Our passionate and committed team is diverse, drawn from the five continents of the world. We have backgrounds in social work, community activism, legal, and mental health care. Perhaps most importantly, some of us are survivors of these harmful practices turned leaders, who offer a unique understanding of the beliefs and practices underlying the harmful behaviours and can offer ways to work with families to improve outcomes for the victims.

Infinity Life Skills CIC is a non-profit making organisation established in August 2014. In the past 2 years we have been researching into the services provided for adults on the autistic spectrum. Specifically those focused on getting them into the working environment. We have a totally unique training and shadowed work experience program within the Disabled Adults Service. Providing support and training within a real working environment for clients on the Autistic Spectrum. Our clients are able to achieve nationally accredited qualifications within a range of subjects supplied by ASDAN. We provide a high level of support and commitment to changing and enhancing the lives of individuals, but also challenging the views of businesses to employ adults with a diagnosis of ASC. Our belief is that everyone has the right to work, but not everyone can enter the working world without support. The Learning Centre will provide life skill courses and accredited qualifications with fully supported work experience in an ASC friendly environment. This will help develop confidence and self-esteem and provide the ability to reach their full potential.

Medway NHS Foundation Trust operates a single-site hospital based in Gillingham, Medway Maritime Hospital, which serves a population of more than 424,000 across Medway and Swale. We provide clinical services to almost half a million patients a year, including more than 125,000 Emergency Department attendances, more than 88,000 admissions, more than 278,000 outpatients appointments and more than 5,000 babies born last year. We currently have many apprenticeships in the organisation, ranging from level 2 to level 7, and close to 400 volunteers provide invaluable support across the League of Friends, Hospital Radio and the Voluntary Services Department. The hospital is made up of two clinical divisions – Unplanned and Integrated Care and Planned Care – supported by corporate functions. Each clinical directorate has a dedicated leadership team comprising Divisional Director of Operations, Divisional Medical Director and Divisional Director of Nursing. The Board of directors, led by Chair Jo Palmer, comprises seven executive directors including Jayne Black, Chief Executive, and nine non-executive directors including the Chair.

St Bonaventure’s has a long and distinguished history. Our school has been providing the very best education for Roman Catholic boys in this area since before 1875. The school was founded on its current site in 1877 by the Franciscan Friars, making St Bonaventure’s one of the oldest Catholic boys’ schools in the country – only the London Oratory is older. 2017 saw us celebrating 140 years of education in Forest Gate and although the World has changed immensely in that time, one thing remains the same and that is the love and care each student receives every single day by dedicated staff and teachers. Our school motto, “In Sanctitate et Doctrina” symbolises what we expect from all members of our school. We are a community, based upon faith which impacts upon every element of our academic and personal lives and we expect everyone, adult and child, to ensure that they learn something new each day. We are a Roman Catholic school, founded on gospel values and our boys are an important and integral part of the faith community. Christian principles are at the very heart of all that we do at St Bonaventure’s. I am very proud to be associated with a school that is a successful as St Bonaventure’s and I thank all students and staff, both current and previous for all their hard work, effort and commitment to their Church and their education. This is a school that every member of the school community feels privileged to be associated with. We support charities on a local, national and international level. Our boys give freely of their time and their money. Our CAFOD group raises over £2000 each year and we support Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society, Caritas Anchor House, Richard House Children’s Hospice and other charities.

Excel Women’s Centre CIC is an organisation based in Barking & Dagenham and surrounding boroughs which supports women, families, young people, carers and individuals with all issues affecting their quality of life and wellbeing. We work mainly in Barking & Dagenham, and now across a lot of East London, offering a range of dedicated services aimed to support our service users, engage and enable the community. Thus, we strive to empower individuals of all ages and ethnicities to become valued members of society. About Us Excel Women’s Centre, CIC, is community hub that has an open door policy and provides services to all women, children and families residing in the London borough of Barking & Dagenham and surrounding boroughs. The centre offer help to vulnerable women and their families to fight discrimination demand their right and increase their self-esteem and confidence within our multicultural society. Empowerment is the key focus of the organization throughout. With empowerment, more services will be provided and service users will gain the skills and encouragement they need to change their lives. By developing as an organization, service users will be able to see a range of activities materialise in the area of mentoring programs, youth projects, IT clubs, Job clubs, Parenting classes for new mothers, healthy eating sessions and many more specifically suggested by the service users. Excel Women’s centre would like all our services users of the organisation to be able to integrate into Barking and Dagenham borough as well as all around London and have the same accessibility to services that everyone else has in London. By working in partnership with service providers, voluntary and community groups, Excel Women’s Group will lead the way, by illustrating that marginalized communities can integrate into society and become part of the community at large.
