Garden of Knowledge institute was established in January 2020 to advance the education of the current and future generations. Mainly focusing on young people and the Muslim community. The organisation was founded by Imam Zeeshan Qayum who graduated from the famous seminary Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya, Bury. After graduating he has governed in structuring many Madaaris across London and has been able to offer a range of skills which he acquired whilst working as an Imam and in high profile roles in the civil service. Currently, Garden of Knowledge is run under the guidance of Hadhrat Mufti Ibrahim Raja Saheb (Senior lecturer of Hadith, Darul Uloom, Bury) and many other senior esteemed Scholars. We aim to provide a range of services that will, Insha Allah, be accessible for all members of every community across London and help to fill in any missing gaps we may have in learning the Deen of Al-Islam.

Girls Empowerment Initiative UK CIC is a Community Interest Company based in Basildon, Thurrock and Essex. We are a non-profit voluntary organisation investing in programmes that providespecialist services to empowerBAME girls and young women aged 0 to 21to prevent and protect them risk of harmful cultural practices, beliefs and attitudes. Our aim is support to victims of such practices in sharing their experiences, seeking early support, and never falling victim again. Girls Empowerment Initiative UK CIC has mobilized a team of experts to provide highly specialized support in this field, which is generally unrecognized and poorly understood in the UK. Our passionate and committed team is diverse, drawn from the five continents of the world. We have backgrounds in social work, community activism, legal, and mental health care. Perhaps most importantly, some of us are survivors of these harmful practices turned leaders, who offer a unique understanding of the beliefs and practices underlying the harmful behaviours and can offer ways to work with families to improve outcomes for the victims.

Infinity Life Skills CIC is a non-profit making organisation established in August 2014. In the past 2 years we have been researching into the services provided for adults on the autistic spectrum. Specifically those focused on getting them into the working environment. We have a totally unique training and shadowed work experience program within the Disabled Adults Service. Providing support and training within a real working environment for clients on the Autistic Spectrum. Our clients are able to achieve nationally accredited qualifications within a range of subjects supplied by ASDAN. We provide a high level of support and commitment to changing and enhancing the lives of individuals, but also challenging the views of businesses to employ adults with a diagnosis of ASC. Our belief is that everyone has the right to work, but not everyone can enter the working world without support. The Learning Centre will provide life skill courses and accredited qualifications with fully supported work experience in an ASC friendly environment. This will help develop confidence and self-esteem and provide the ability to reach their full potential.

The hospital is made up of two clinical divisions – Unplanned and Integrated Care and Planned Care – supported by corporate functions. As an organisation, we use our skills from running sports and youth clubs to engage those hard-to-reach young people, such as those who struggle in mainstream school settings. In addition, we use resources and specialist skills provided by Edclass for a complete curriculum ranging from Business studies to Physical Education. Edclass has over 12,000 lessons to choose from, focusing on GCSEs, Functional skills and academic BTECs. We also offer vocational courses and work experience alongside our GCSE scheme, helping students become more versatile in their current skillset and build confidence.

We work mainly in Barking & Dagenham, and now across a lot of East London, offering a range of dedicated services aimed to support our service users, engage and enable the community. About Us Excel Women’s Centre, CIC, is community hub that has an open door policy and provides services to all women, children and families residing in the London borough of Barking & Dagenham and surrounding boroughs. The centre offer help to vulnerable women and their families to fight discrimination demand their right and increase their self-esteem and confidence within our multicultural society. Empowerment is the key focus of the organization throughout. With empowerment, more services will be provided and service users will gain the skills and encouragement they need to change their lives. In 2008 Jo met and took refuge with Dharma King Dechan Jeuren – MahaVairocana Buddha, lineage bearer of the Esoteric and LinJi Chan schools in China. She received her Dharma name – Zhi Ling. In April 2015, the MahaAmita Temple was opened by the Mayor of Southend-on-Sea. The only Buddhist Temple in the Borough, Jo was then invited by the Mayor to present the Buddhist flags to him at the Southend Borough Annual General Meeting, which he accepted on behalf of the Borough. In 2016 she was invited to become the Buddhist representative for SACRE (Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education) for the Southend Borough and currently sits on the panel. The Founding Director of the Centre, Jo is an ordained Buddhist teacher and runs meditation and healing sessions weekly and Mindfulness courses monthly. She is a huge advocate of teaching and promoting the benefits of meditation and visits schools, groups and organisations within the local community giving talks and workshops. Her personal philosophy is to be as honest and truthful as possible and specialises in teaching how to open up the heart centre.
