I completed my UK pilates training and certification with Body Control Pilates (BCP) in 2000, BCP is one of the leading education providers for Pilates teacher training and the most significant professional Pilates organisation outside the USA. I established Pilates in Dulwich in the same year. Committed to my ongoing development, I also undertook advanced studies at Kane School of Core Integration in New York under the tutelage and mentorship of Kelly Kane, one of the most highly regarded and experienced Pilates educators and therapists in the USA. In 2009 I qualified as an osteopath, and completed extensive postgraduate studies including cranial and classical osteopathy, women’s health and training in paediatrics at the world famous Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy in London (aka Osteopathic Centre for Children – OCC). My extended pilates clinical work is influenced by all of these factors some of which have organically integrated into my current evolving non-purist practice, which is underpinned by comprehensive training and certification, and lifelong professional development. I have worked in several highly regarded London clinics to enhance my practice and established my own osteopathic practice to compliment my existing Pilates work. I currently divide my time between private osteopathic practice, teaching Pilates, running community-based first aid training, clinical tutoring, developing, writing and delivering specialist lectures/workshops/courses and completing heaps of continual professional development (CPD) each year.

Our brilliant business volunteers bring all of our activities to life with their expertise and enthusiasm. We are extremely passionate about the work we do and the impact we have on the lives of young people. Learning to Work achieved matrix Standard accreditation in 2014 and 2017 recognises our information, advice and guidance services and accredits our capability to support our schools with their responsibility for careers education. Each year we work with over 18,000 young people on a variety of different activities including; Work Experience, Careers Guidance, Work Ready Activities, Business Insight Days, Careers & Apprenticeship Events, Enterprise Activities, Inter-school Competitions, STEAM as well as support for Specials Needs and students struggling with mainstream education. Several local Education Business Partnerships were formed in 1993 as part of the government initiative to improve employer engagement in local schools. (Hons) in Psychology COAPE Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling, therefore a member of the COAPE Association of Pet Behaviourists and Trainers Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (MAPDT 1068) Member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) Scentwork UK trainer Chantal is also a trainer for Dog AID (Assistance In Disability), Registered Charity Number 1098619, a national voluntary organisation which provides specialised training for people with physical disabilities who wish to train their own pet dog, some up to Assistance Level. Chantal offers dog training and puppy training in Dorking, Ewell, Leatherhead and many other locations in Greater London and Surrey. It is a discipline that is constantly adapting and to keep up to date with new methods and techniques, Chantal regularly attends lectures and seminars by internationally renowned dog trainers and behaviourists such as Ken Ramirez, Emily Larlham and Kay Laurence. Chantal currently owns four dogs, a Border Collie and three Shelties. Bethlem Gallery is a visual arts organisation in south-east London. We programme creative activities, projects and commissions to participate in, look at, talk and think about. Based at Bethlem Royal Hospital, Beckenham, and working across South London and the UK, we support the professional development and socially engaged practice of our artists, many of whom have experienced mental health services. We bridge communities, aiming to make art an everyday practice and mental health an everyday conversation. Our programme includes collaborations with other cultural and health organisations including Bethlem Museum of the Mind, with whom we share a building, artists-in-residence, and interdisciplinary research. We engage audiences in learning and debate on the subject of mental health and artistic practice. We are a charity founded in 1997. Urbed (Urbanism, Environment and Design) Ltd to close-Urbed Trust unaffected It is with great sadness that we announce that our partner organisation Urbed (Urbanism, Environment and Design) Ltd will close early in 2023. The employee-owned cooperative finds itself with no option, following the completion of several projects and operating in an incredibly difficult post COVID environment, particularly with public sector tendering. Urbed (Urbanism, Environment and Design) Ltd formed in 2006, and grew out of the original Urbed (Urban and Economic Development) Ltd from 1976. It is one of the last surviving members of a group of consultancies that pioneered the process of urban regeneration in the 1970s and 80s. Since that time Urbed have undertaken ground-breaking work on the reuse of industrial heritage, managed workspace, town centres, sustainable urbanism, domestic retrofit, urban design and coding. Their closure will not affect ourselves at the Urbed Trust. We are a separate not for profit company run by Urbed’s 1976 original founding director Dr Nicholas Falk. We will continue our work on smarter urbanisation and sustainable housing in both the UK and India. Who are the URBED Trust? The URBED Trust is a not for profit company with charitable aims set up to promote research into the future of urban areas, and to disseminate best practice. The trust was reconstituted after Nicholas Falk and David Rudlin won the 2014 Wolfson Economics Prize for showing how to build new Garden Cities that are visionary, viable and popular. A group of expert board members are overseeing different projects, in partnership with other public bodies.
