Welcome to Greater Peterborough UTC. We are proud to be Peterborough’s first STEM-specialist school, giving young people the chance to follow a unique academic and technical curriculum into higher education or the world of work. Our £25 million campus was opened in September 2016 and has rapidly established itself as one of the highest performing schools in the area. Our campus includes industry-standard workshops and IT design studios, as well as specialist science labs and state of the art digital engineering equipment. Atlantic Bow (Communications) Limited was originally set up in 1994 by David Walls and the late Alexander Grant as a consultancy and project development firm. Dr. Stewart Massie was appointed Technical Director in 2009. We specialise in market research, risk management, open and distance learning, as well as research into combining information and communications technologies with legal, financial, commercial, educational and other professional services. We have worked largely in the fishing, seafood and aquaculture sectors. In particular, our EC funded report "The Seafood Industry of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and the West Coast: The Problems of Remoteness in a European Context" (EC Ref. UK-11-Focus, August 1997) had a major impact on the UK seafood industry and has been the basis of much of our subsequent work to date. More recently we were awarded an FIFG grant to carry out an "innovation" development project that looked at the vital question of the standardisation of data to facilitate data exchange across the seafood industry as a "proof of concept" project. To demonstrate the practical application of the draft standard specification that was developed, there was specific focus on quality management, compliance certification and audit in the field of organic aquaculture. This has led on to the formation in 2016 of a new company, Evolve O-Pro Limited, which was set up to develop software to assist the professional or expert with the task of complex reporting, data collection and analysis. V.I.P.A is not a static system as is Karate, Kung Fu or Judo for example. By static I mean something that has not changed over a period of time, something that has not kept up with modern threats and combat found in today's modern world. If the Instructor is not teaching a street application then they are teaching a 'Do' a 'Way' to reach inner harmony, a way to overcome yourself and become a better person, a form of meditation. This in itself is a noble endeavour and for those looking for that path then these martial arts a fantastic path to tread. As a combat system V.I.P.A is also a 'Way' but it is a way for warriors not martial artists, it is also not the only 'Way' it is only one path with ideas, philosophies, treaties, strategies, tactics and techniques gained over 40 years of combatives study. Having said that, it is a highly effective method of combat. V.I.P.A embraces change, evolvement and open mindedness. From its conception in 1988 V.I.P.A has evolved and continues to evolve as threats and evironments change. From the streets of Northern Ireland to training for possible combat against Russian Spetsnaz Special Forces to the 1991 Gulf War and beyond, V.I.P.A has adapted to its environment and continues to do so with civilian, police and close protection applications. V.I.P.A is in reality a sphere of influence and at its centre are the Core Concepts, the vital skills that are required of any means of combat. There is nothing new in the skills of the Core Concepts, many people practice them as part of a whole system of combat or as part of their own cross training program. The Core Concepts are only a means to an end. The means are the strategies, tactics and techniques themselves. The end, well that has many forms, is it to win in your next street encounter, not to get into any encounters at all, to protect your family, safely detain a suspect or win and live on the battlefield and in harmony after the battle is over. The only real end result is what you as an individual are training for.

We have been producing umbrella since 1995 as Gold Umbrella. The umbrellas we produce in Turkey, we export to many countries in the World with our expert and professional team in the field. We are working to provide the best service to our customers with 1500 m2 closed area and 500 m2 open area in Istanbul Turkey. We are able to receive orders from all over the world without the minimum order quantity of 1 or 1000 pieces Because we focus on customer satisfaction we have no minimum order limitation. Our aim is to continue our business regardless of any Quantity. Our aim is that all our customers the product or products that they have purchased to send in a flawless and fast manner, to do not embarrass ourselves and our customers against anyone. As production capacity, we give 3 or 4 weeks term time for high-volume orders. We prepare a sample on the computer according to the colour, printing and dimensions after the confirmation of customers we prepare a real sample if it is approved after send it, we are going to serial production. We check our production line every two or three years and replace it with new ones, if we have an old one. We participate the fairs, investigating new machines, new technologies and if there is a new technology, we include it in our production line the and we continue umbrella production. Turkey is one of the strongest countries in the production of printing types and fabrics. That’s why we do not have much problem with fabric and printing. Our customers, whatever printing they want, we can find a solution. First of all we prepare a drawing sample on the computer, after the confirmation we prepare a real sample. We have six different umbrella models. These are Rope System Umbrella, Magnet System Umbrella, Telescopic System Umbrella, Manual Telescopic Umbrella, Crank System Umbrella, Side Pole Umbrella. After we have learned how our customers will use the umbrella, we will first hold a meeting with our colleagues on this subject, then decide which products are useful, long-lasting and economical for them, and then we present them as two or three models.

The Findhorn Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust continue to address the issues facing our rivers and the wildlife that depends on them. Our FNLRT Management Plan 2021 details the diverse range of projects we are planning to help conserve and restore our river catchments. Over the course of the last two centuries removal of natural forests, overgrazing and changing land use have significantly degraded the ecosystems of our rivers. Moreover, we now face a climate crisis which is causing increasing global temperatures and dramatically changing weather patterns. These factors combine to present a very serious threat to wildlife in the catchment of our rivers, particularly to salmon. This demands our urgent attention and to tackle this we are delighted to launch the Findhorn Watershed Initiative. Through this ambitious initiative we seek to bring the River Findhorn Watershed’s communities, landowners, businesses, farmers, land managers, local authorities, and educational institutions together to work at nature’s scale to sink carbon, restore habitat, and mitigate the impacts of the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss for future generations. These are global threats, which require large scale programs and significant funding to begin to reverse the trends. The Trust recognises that we have an important part to play to ensure that our river catchments benefit from these initiatives. To be effective, projects will need to be coordinated at a scale beyond that of individual land holdings. A natural unit for this coordination is the river catchments. We will only succeed if we work in coalition with landowners and local interests, across catchments and with partners who enable scale and additional resources to be brought to bear on these issues. We continue to work with all our friends and partners to make a difference in this important work to improve the quality of our river environments. Makers Quarter was formed in response to a number of issues facing the independent makers of Manchester. High commercial rents, impractical spaces, and isolation are major problems experienced by many. We felt passionately about finding a solution for this and believe that a shared workshop space is the solution. Manchester was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution and sadly over the years industry has been swapped for office space and city center flats. There needs to be a balance to help small independent businesses thrive and we think the Makers Quarter is a great start! Makers quarter will not only be providing space but a creative community and exciting lessons to the public. Having access to a shared workshop, studio spaces and craft tables in the heart of the city will encourage all types of makers to come together. Having tested the water in a small workshop in collaboration with 3space the positive response has encouraged us to open a larger space. We have searched endlessly to find a suitable location for our members and Makers Quarter in now finally a reality! Our 7500sq ft workshop in central Manchester has great transport connections. Cornbrook tram stop is just a 6 minute walk away and a foot/cycle path along the canal cuts through Castlefield locks and takes you straight into town in less than 15 minutes. Makers Quarter is shared between our members and divided up into larger studio spaces, pods, craft tables and a separate wood workshop for all to access. Creating this community allows us to provide a hassle free, creative space at affordable rates. By offering flexible space on both a permanent and pop up basis we aim to support makers of all levels. Anyone can join, whether they are a professional maker, need a workbench for a weekend hobby, or would like to learn new skills. Retune was founded by Tom Ryder. Tom is a musician and journalist, and has a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. He was hospitalised for poor mental health multiple times during his late teens and early twenties, which eventually forced him to withdraw from university and begin again from scratch. While in hospital, Tom noticed that patients were finding creative outlets to cope with their predicament. These outlets included drawing, painting, writing poetry, dancing, singing and cooking. Tom wrote songs and, despite those dark times, he realised creativity’s tremendous potential to improve mental health; it is crucial to have an outlet for feelings and emotions. A few years later, Tom started hosting live gigs. He also ran workshops in schools, connecting with young people who were experiencing mental struggles. In 2018, Retune started to take shape: in addition to live shows and schools, Tom now visited prisons and hospitals, and produced online content. Tom’s cousin Kathryn Bailey – a photographer, videographer and all-round creative – joined the project in 2019. As well as sharing Tom’s view that creative outlets are powerful tools for mental wellbeing, Kathryn had a personal attachment to Retune's mission... When Tom was first admitted to hospital, 11-year-old Kathryn was shielded from the truth, as she was considered ‘too young’ to know what was going on. Being involved with Retune allows her to be part of a cause that is close to her heart, especially as Retune’s workshops discuss mental wellbeing with all ages, from primary school pupils to adults. Open conversations around wellbeing are more commonplace nowadays, but there is still a long road ahead. Through its workshops and live shows, Retune is creating a community based around mental wellbeing, underpinned by creativity. When we retune something, such as a musical instrument or a radio, we make small adjustments in order to achieve harmony, clarity and balance. Retune believes that the same theory can be applied to mental health. Harnessing creative outlets that engage the imagination, and following the principles of the SCALES model, can help all of us to make small adjustments. As a result, our mental wellbeing will be more in tune.

A group of ten like-minded dog owners got together and held an Inaugural meeting May 1985 when it was agreed that an application be submitted to the Kennel Club. Trent Park Dog Agility Club was born and it became the first ‘Agility only’ registered club. In the early days, ‘heavy’ homemade equipment was used – can anyone else remember the annual Paint and Repair days – not to mention the Dog Walk with extendable Tri-Pod legs? We were a group of enthusiastic dog owners who shared a passion for the fast-growing sport of Dog Agility and basically learnt as we went along. There were the usual hic-cups to be negotiated along the way but the Club went from strength to strength. An open evening was held in January 1986 with demonstrations and talks to attract new members. Trent Park Dog Agility Club held its’ first Agility Show at Picketts Lock Centre (before the cinema was built) on September 1986. It consisted of four classes: Starters Jumping and Agility + Novice Jumping and Agility. Entry fees were only £1.50 and class numbers averaged between 50 – 60. Our judges were Tony Veal and Yvonne Tate. Trent Park Dog Agility Club went on to hold an Annual Show until September 2013. The only exception being in 1997, when at short notice, the show was cancelled as it coincided with the funeral of Lady Diana, the Princess of Wales. A donation of £1,367.55 was sent to the memorial fund, being the balance of show entries received less requested refunds and disbursements. Club members also travelled to many local shows, usually in convoy, pre M25. In the early days, all clear rounds ran off at the end of the Class to produce the winner. Much has changed since then. We are now part of the Agility Club league. Currently, Trent Park Dog Agility Club has over 30 training members and a wonderful variety of dogs. We have replaced those old heavy pieces of equipment with up to date kit and aluminium contact gear. The arena’s rubber flooring has been replaced with a sandy substrate. Our members are enthusiastic, supportive and social. It is a great place to come and learn together.

We are offering both in-person and telehealth (secure videoconference) assessment and therapy services. Our office staff will talk with clients about which option may work best for them. Commitment to Anti-Racism: The MU Psychological Services Clinic (PSC) and Center for Evidence-Based Youth Mental Health (CEBYMH) are outraged and saddened by the multiple occurrences of police brutality and injustice against Black and Brown communities (Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Michael Brown, and too many others). These are the result of long-standing structurally racist systems that devalue Black and Brown lives. The disproportionate impact of these inequities is felt not only in the justice system, but also in education, medicine, and mental health care. As psychology providers, we believe that the ultimate manner by which to heal racial trauma is for individuals and the systems within which they work to recognize and eliminate explicit and implicit bias, prejudice, racism, and discrimination. However, at this time, many Black and Brown individuals have already experienced and will continue to experience racial trauma. Our clinic is committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for these individuals. We are also aiming to increase provider representation and knowledge in our clinic by working with clinicians and consultants of diverse backgrounds.
