Hogeschool IPABO is een gespecialiseerde hogeschool voor basisonderwijs, kinderopvang en voorschoolse educatie. Vanuit Amsterdam en Alkmaar delen we kennis die voldoet aan vragen van vandaag en morgen. Kennis waar de beroepspraktijk op wacht en die grenzen verlegt. Daarom doen we praktijkgericht onderzoek en werken we nauw samen met de basisscholen. Elk jaar volgen ruim 1.200 studenten de voltijd en deeltijd bacheloropleiding tot leraar basisonderwijs, de universitaire pabo en de associate degree Pedagogisch Educatief Professional (Ad PEP) bij IPABO. Daarnaast bieden we programma’s voor zij-instromers, nascholing en in-company trajecten. De i van IPABO Hogeschool IPABO ontstond als fusie van de Van Randwijk Academie, de Katholieke Pabo Amsterdam en de Da Costa in Alkmaar. De i staat voor impact. De impact van Hogeschool IPABO. Voor een opleiding die draait om jou. Zodat je ontdekt wie je bent en waar je voor staat. En je leert verhouden tot anderen, van welke culturele of levensbeschouwelijke achtergrond dan ook. Bij IPABO word je iemand die het verschil maakt. Iemand die je bij blijft. Vol kracht. Vol leerkracht. Vol impact. De i staat ook voor interlevensbeschouwelijk. De houding om open te staan voor religie of geen religie. Vanuit begrip en inlevingsvermogen. Met oog voor de persoon en de context waarin je opereert. De i zit in ons DNA. Het zit verankerd in de kernwaarden van IPABO. Dit komt tot uiting in onze blik op de wereld en ons opleidingscurriculum. Religieuze stromingen, levensbeschouwelijke vraagstukken, diversiteit en inclusiviteit hebben binnen het onderwijs van IPABO een blijvend belangrijke plaats.

Here at PQA Bristol, we are super excited about our new projects to kick off 2023! In Musical Theatre and Comedy & Drama our students will be working on skills whilst we begin rehearsals for our upcoming musical of The Little Mermaid, performed at the 1542 Performing Arts Centre! In Film & Television, we are exploring pre-production, storytelling and filmmaking practice whilst taking part in a variety of PQA challenges! Our Poppets will be exploring a range of themed sessions, they will even be making their own Poppets movie! All of our students will be developing their confidence and Performing Arts skills across the range of brilliant sessions we offer! We are thrilled that due to popular demand we are launching our Brand New Friday Academy in May - Book your place at our Free Open Day to experience the Friday Fun! Here at PQA students participate in an array of diverse and challenging modules designed to engage and excite our students- there is never a dull moment! We are passionate about building confidence and developing children's skills in the performing arts while striving to allow each individual to reach their potential! Our staff are fully trained and actively working in the industry, giving our students the best possible experience in their modules. We offer customised training opportunities on a range of open courses for a wide variety of job and life skills opportunities through one-to-one learning support, individual learning plan, progress reviews and advice and guidance. We have delivered programmes ranging from privately funded courses to ESA, EFA 16-18, Traineeship, Apprenticeship, Advanced Learning Loan and Adult Education contracts from entry level 1 to level 7. Our excellence in quality assurance, leadership, and project management have enabled the sustainability of our business, timely completion of our learners' courses and in getting to their destinations. Our average success rate since 2014 is ninety-eight percent. Zurbel Training works with local communities such as the Job Centre Plus, Connexions, Advice & Guidance and the Outreach Team in making sure candidates are guided on the right path. Our gratitude to our business partners working with us for our learners' work job placement, 95 per centre. With the support of our centre partners, courses are now delivered closer to learners' vicinity within their community. They also have the opportunity to study from home via our online E-portfolio assessment system. On completion, all our learners supported with progression route into further education or employment, where we offer them workshop activities on their CV writing, confidence building and job interviews techniques. General feedback from stakeholders i.e learners, employers, staff and funders have been so encouraging, in seeing learners achieving their aims. Our main aim is to increase our provisions to the hard to reach target group in the country and to secure direct funding.

Fun Pots has always been a small, family-run business. Started by Sue and Sally in 2003, their vision was to provide a space where customers could get creative in a fun and relaxing environment. Fast forward to 2017. Both Sue and Sally decided it was time to move on from running the studio, and their first port of call was to contact the Fun Pot’s community. They sent out an email to let past customers know the business was for sale and that they were open to offers. When the email dropped into our inbox we were immediately interested. As previous customers, we loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere that Fun Pots provided. After chatting with Sue and Sally we decided that taking over the business was the perfect new adventure for our family. Our aim has always been to continue doing what Fun Pots does best; providing a fun and relaxing space for customers to paint. Most of the time we leave the running of the studio to our staff team, but you might spot Mike in the studio (usually fixing something - he’s very handy!). We love the sense of community the studio offers and that you don’t need to be arty or creative to have fun here. It is lovely to see customers’ confidence grow, and to share in each piece as it develops before being revealed in its finished, fired glory. We hope that, just like us, you will discover the fun of painting pottery at Fun Pots too!

Artigarvan etc; provides a comprehensive range of support and services to individuals with (mild-moderate) learning disabilities; through a network of community-based projects in and around the border region of Co. Tyrone (with Donegal); as well as facilitating some clients who reside in the city of Derry and surrounding area. Our Head Office and base in Northern Ireland is in Strabane, County Tyrone where we have our social enterprise – Strabane Garden Centre which is open all year round.We have in total 45 adults ranging from 19 years to retirement age, availing of their own person-centred, Western Health & Social Care Trust (Learning Disability) – funded programme on either a full-time or part-time basis. Opening Doors, Opening Minds Since 1995, New Horizons Partnership Ltd. has been a committed Community / Voluntary organisation; wholly funded by the Western Health & Social Care Trust (WHSCT) (Learning Disability) in Northern Ireland to provide services of excellence to school leavers & adults of all ages with learning disabilities; supporting & equipping each referred individual with the appropriate skills, knowledge & confidence required to enrich & improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their families.

ABOUT OUR TEACHINGS There is one very powerful way to demystify any assumptions or preconcepts you might have about Kundalini Yoga: come and try it!  Everybody is welcome to our classes whether you are intrigued by kundalini, just started your journey or already familiar with it.  The practice is open to all levels and we aim to create the space for an authentic body and mind experience.  We practice dynamic sequences of exercises called kriyas, which are not complicated postures that take years to master, actually the opposite.  Most of the asanas are simple movements structured in sequences, with breathing technique and mudras –hands gestures. A meditation and mantras or music, or both are always part of the experience.   One single class might already leave you with a subtle sensation of wellbeing beyond the physical usual relaxation of any workout, as if you are slightly floaty and at peace in yourself.
