Simon is well known in the trading world from his position as trading expo organiser and more recently working with hundreds of high profile trading educators around the globe developing and delivering trading education workshops and courses.

Founder & Managing Director James Woodley lives in London and is a parent of two secondary school students. James started his career as an Army Officer before working in Financial Services. Most recently he has worked for two start-up FinTech companies. He has led and participated in several hiking and mountaineering expeditions in North America, Europe and Asia. He holds the following qualifications and memberships: BA(Hons) Politics & Government Executive MBA Ofsted Recognised Paediatric First Aid (12 Hour) Emergency First Aid at Work Designated Safeguarding Officer qualification Member of the British Mountaineering Council He is responsible for devising the training programme and ensuring that all adult supervisors have been DBS checked, briefed on safeguarding policies and hold relevant qualifications.

I have 23 spent years working with people of all ages through education and sport. I am a former RFU Development Officer, Coach Educator and RFU Trainer. After spending 2 years as the Assistant Director of Rugby at Hartpury College, I moved back into education and spent 12 years, initially as a teacher of Physical Education, reaching the position of Assistant Headteacher. Since 2013 I have been working with the Bristol Bears Academy as a Centre Manager and Development Coach within the Aspire and Excel Programmes. I am passionate about the power of sport, particularly rugby, in developing the potential in people both on and off the field of play. This is what forms our purpose at Switch Rugby.

Having grown up sailing dinghies and yachts, Robin joined the Merchant Navy from school and soon became a Navigating Officer on general cargo ships trading to all parts of the globe. Coming ashore, Robin’s varied but essentially marine career, took him through marine electronics, HM Coastguard and Harbour Master. Entering a sort of semi-retirement in 2014 he and his wife, Teresa, cruised their own boat to the east coast of Sweden. Since then, Robin has enjoyed instructing RYA practical and shorebased courses. “Improving nautical skills is of course hugely important,” Robin says, “but I also like to get across the ‘essence’ of life onboard a boat – to experience and appreciate the marine environment around us”. Keith Profile Keith Miller RYA Yachtmaster Instructor Keith has over 20 years boating experience in both motor and sail. He is a RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and also has teaching qualifications for power boats and VHF radio. He has 3 Fastnet races to his name as well as a number of round Britain cruises, all as skipper. He has worked on the East Coast as an instructor for more than 10 years, as well as spending several seasons in Malaysia with Langkawi Sailing School. Keith is also a senior martial arts instructor for adults and children, and a founder member of the South Eastern Taekwando group. Asked why he does what he does Keith says ‘I just get a huge buzz from passing on my love of sailing to others, and helping them to develop their skills and experience.’
