The ‘Lean Six Sigma Academy’ (LSSA) was established in September 2009 with the objective to develop an internationally recognized certification scheme for all Lean Six Sigma Belt levels. Being the scheme owner of Lean Six Sigma, we believe in one uniform and internationally recognized standard for Lean Six Sigma training and certification. The LSSA aims to create an open, professional and quality-driven Lean Six Sigma knowledge community of Accredited Training Organizations and professional (Master) Black Belt trainers. We support the development of training content, examination as well as supporting content such as templates, exercises and games. LSSA connects the candidates with accredited training providers and exam institutes worldwide. We support the training organizations with all the resources that we have. We support candidates by finding a training provider and getting prepared for certification by offering them guidelines, knowledge and sample exams. We facilitate our network of Accredited Training Organizations (ATOs) with training content, reference books, exercise books, games, templates and dataset. We also connect our global network of accredited trainers with ATOs. Our exam institutes provide exam service with clear certification guidelines, syllabi and exam content in multiple languages to the candidates of the accredited training organizations.

Skills4Reform is a Social Enterprise and our aim is to provide employability skills training, support and guidance to prisoners and ex-offenders of any age. We work with prisons to identify individuals due to be released within 3 months who genuinely wish to change and work. Upon completion of the programme we help them find meaningful employment or apprenticeship placements, through our partners and networks. Our objective is to reduce re-offending, rebuild lives and rebuild communities and we do this by adopting the following core principles: Building confidence Empowerment & Accountability Support through mentoring Training With high unemployment rates in the UK, the statistics for ex-offenders finding employment are bleak. According to government figures, 46% of adult prisoners re-offend within a year of release, costing UK taxpayers £13bn a year. Skills4Reform has started to establish and build itself nationally with a network of supporters with its roots based at HMP Thameside, London operated by Serco Group Plc. Enterprise Transport Training is one of the UK’s largest driver training organisations. Enterprise was launched in the 1990s by North West based employers to combat the driver shortage through providing licence acquisition training. Whilst staying loyal to our roots (we are still one of the country’s largest LGV training schools) the network expanded geographically and evolved to meet the growing requirement for classroom based training for both Drivers and Transport Managers to reflect the emphasis being placed on increasing safety and compliance with the transport industry. The Covid enforced move to a greater volume of online training has been embraced and with the exception of a few days at Christmas online courses run every day of the year. Our business is staffed by industry professionals. With, in excess of 20 qualified Transport Managers in our organisation we aim to support our clients across the whole of the UK through our knowledge and professionalism. The objective today is the same as it was 25 years ago - to increase the pool of highly skilled drivers and transport managers by making quality training widely available at a fair price.

The C2C Teaching Alliance was formed in March 2013 and is a Multi-Alliance teaching school committed to providing excellent teaching and learning opportunities for all. We have successfully developed ITT enabling School Direct students to work within the Alliance. We are also an appropriate body for NQT’s offering quality support and training for NQTs across Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire. Furthermore, we have developed the school to school support that we offer and are engaged in supporting a number of schools and have a good track record of the impact of that support. We also offer a wide range of CPD, including English, Maths, PE, Phonics and Senior leaders. Our most recent addition to this is training for recently Qualified Teachers showing leadership potential. Our objective is to build a professional school led system based on trust and empowerment. We aim for excellence in holistic education; providing an outstanding teacher for every class and outstanding leaders in every school. Superior Healthcare was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles and Sarah Richards in response to their experience of caring for Stewart’s brother and Charles’ son, Alex, who has an acquired brain injury. Alex was knocked from his bicycle whilst cycling on a country lane in 2001, by a motorist who had been using his mobile phone at the time of impact. Although sustaining only minor physical injuries, Alex suffered what proved to be a catastrophic blow to his head. Alex was rapidly transferred to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at King’s College Hospital, London, where he spent four weeks on life support. During a stay on the PICU and Lion Ward that would last almost three months, Alex had a tracheostomy and his breathing was managed by a ventilator. Whilst he was weaned from his ventilator, he continued to be fed via a gastrostomy tube well after his transfer to the Children’s Head Injury Service, based at Chailey Heritage in East Sussex. During a year-long stay at Chailey, Alex would learn to walk and talk again with the support of a team of support workers, nurses and healthcare professionals including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and neurologists whilst a plan was made for his return to the family home. It was then that Charles and Stewart met Sarah Richards, the Registered Nurse who was tasked to recruit the team that would support Alex at home. In ensuing years, Charles, Stewart and Sarah worked alongside a team of healthcare professionals as well as solicitors and case managers to support Alex’s continued rehabilitation including his return to education and participation at Headway – an independent charity working to provide social rehabilitation to adults with an acquired brain injury. From their personal experience, Charles and Stewart identified the importance of a specialised care service that would bridge the gap between independent care providers and national organisations and in 2006, Superior Healthcare was founded with the objective of providing specialised services for people who have complex and long term health needs. Since then, we have worked with children, young people, adults and their families to provide twenty-four hour and respite care, which supports people during rehabilitation or to maintain their health, as well as providing a dignified service for people approaching the end of their lives. At Superior Healthcare, providing a high-quality service is a personal goal. Too often, external evaluation is very clear on identifying strengths and weaknesses but offers little in the way of advising on what can be done to address issues arising. With our experience of working with more than two hundred senior leadership teams across England, extensive knowledge of data management and analysis and up to date knowledge of inspection procedures; we can help you gain an objective, accurate understanding of the effectiveness of key areas of your school and will write this up in a way that directly contributes to your school self-evaluation, thus saving you time to spend where it really impacts; with your children and teachers. My Background After a successful 15 year career teaching in a range of different primary schools in different authorities, culminating in Headship, I joined a major public services company in 2008 advising on data analysis and management and school improvement through accurate self-evaluation. As part of this remit, I provided CPD and advice to primary schools across the country. In 2010, I undertook inspection training and became a fully qualified additional Ofsted Inspector. I successfully retained my badge in the reduction of inspectors in 2016 and continued inspecting until 2018, when one-day inspections significantly reduced the need for additional inspectors. During my time on inspection, I worked on behalf of SERCO and then Ofsted directly from 2016. In May 2011, I became a fully independent schools advisor and since then, as well as inspection work, I have worked with over 250 schools Nationwide. The location of these schools has included Sunderland and Teesside in the North East, Manchester and Thameside in the North West, various parts of London and Wiltshire in the South East and West, as well as many points in between! In these schools, I have worked in partnership with them on SEF writing, school advisory work, self-evaluation and school performance information analysis as well as providing both on-site and course training regarding data analysis and curriculum development. As I am not employed by Ofsted and have no ties to local authorities, then you can be sure that the view point I give is objective and based entirely around the evidence available. I work as an advisor to both maintained LA primary schools and Multi-Academy Trust groups.

Who we are? This community-lead Charity was formed in 2020 with the objective of improving social isolation and promoting racial harmony in Medway. We are an independent initiative who provide supplementary education to support the cultural diversity within our community. Our volunteers include a variety of qualified educators and professionals providing positive representation, with a shared passion for unity and youth work. What we do? We offer workshops, classes and events for children aged 5-16 years, which address the educational gaps in history and highlight the positive contributions that have helped shape our society. Our volunteers encourage good citizenship and community cohesion, which broadens the understanding of ourselves and the wider world. We do this by creating cultural access points and increasing active engagement in areas such as: arts & culture, literature, history, music and sports. Fun, interactive activities are planned and delivered on a monthly basis through a combination of structured lessons, practical play, and social interaction.

The popular introductory Herbal Correspondence Course is now run from our herb farm on the Isle of Arran and is an excellent intro if you are interested in treating yourself or your family and also for aspiring herbal students who can use it as an access course for University entrance and to see if the profession is for them. If you decide to enrol Keith Robertson MSc. F.NIMH will be your tutor for your assignments and he has over 30 years experience in the field. We also provide regular practical Herbal Medicine classes on Arran offering herb walks, plant ID, medicine making, botanical drawing etc and these form part of our new apprenticeship programme or they can be booked separately. This site remains an archive for the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine which was founded in 1992 by Medical Herbalists Maureen and Keith Robertson F.NIMH. It rose to almost mythical status as the world’s leading School for teaching a holistic balance of traditional and modern Herbal Medicine and importantly championing an energetic approach to treatment. The School had a world first with its M.Sc. programme and many of today's practitioners benefited from its 4 year B.Sc. programme. Being externally validated rather than being part of the mainstream University system gave us the autonomy to develop courses with real heart (we developed ground breaking research methodologies such as Goethean/Contemplative Science and promoted, for instance, case series research) but in the end, as a small educational charity, we were competing at the height with 7 other Universities!! The market was essentially flooded by 3 year courses and when the recession bit student numbers dropped and we were the 3rd U.K. degree programme to have to close its doors. Intake for the Massage and Aromatherapy courses also ceased. Perhaps however, the School had achieved its main objective – to equip the world with a sizeable number of top graduates who carry traditional and modern Herbal wisdom within a working energetic framework.
