University College School is a major London day school situated in Hampstead,
consisting of the UCS Pre-Prep, Junior Branch and Senior School with its
co-educational Sixth Form. As an educational Foundation, we aspire to lay a
foundation for life with our mission of enabling children and young people to
become the very best versions of themselves. The school's MO is to combine
best-in-class academic education with outstanding pastoral care on a bedrock of
UCS's time-honoured liberal ethos which encourages intellectual curiosity,
creativity, breadth of study and independence of mind. We may be "academically
pacy", according to the Good Schools Guide, but we are also warm and nurturing
thanks to the strong relationships that promote such independent thought and
