An experienced teacher and lecturer in a wide range of Holistic Therapies, she is Principal of Lucis College as well as lecturing and running workshops for The Federation of Holistic Therapies and Cidesco. She has had 4 books published. Two with Capall Bann entitled 'Working With Natural Energy' and 'Working With Crystals', another published by Duncan Baird in the 'Live Better' series on Crystal Therapy. Her latest book Crystal Alchemy is published by Lotus Publishing and a Beginners Guide to Crystal Healing will be released in 2022. . She has also worked with large organizations – both public and private on a consultancy basis providing stress management and product training. Shirley is founder member of Holistic Harmony CIC and sits on the Advisory Panel for Social Investment Business Group
