Trained Up provide mandatory training courses aligned to the 'Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework' (CSTF). Many NHS Trusts, nursing agencies, care homes and clinics are requiring staff to complete Mandatory and Statutory training training which is aligned to the 'Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework'. Mandatory training provided by Trained Up meets this criteria. Trained Up have verified their learning content as aligned to the CSTF. Trained Up provide Mandatory training as either a complete training work shop including theoretical and practical modules or blended learning which includes several modules within the classroom and the others via e-learning. Our Mandatory training modules can also be split. For example if you only require people moving and handling then you only need to attend the course for this module. If you only require moving and handling and Basic Life Support (BLS) again you only need to attend for these 2 modules. Candidates, Trusts and staffing agencies can be confident that Mandatory training provided by Trained Up is conducted by accredited instructors with experience relevant to the course content.

Our school is unique within the maintained sector in the whole of southern England. We cater for students aged 4 to 19 and have both day and boarding places. We have a large site with high quality teaching, social care and health care facilities. A staff team of over 200 people provides specialist teaching, social care, therapies and nursing care to an exceptionally high standard. Our overall aim is to enable every child and young person to achieve meaningful independence. Students flourish in a supportive but challenging environment, making good educational progress and achieving a range of accreditation as they get older. There is excellent support to enable students to achieve functional communication, mobility and skills for daily living. We are a Foundation Special School and are part of the Kent SEN Trust, a cooperative trust of ten schools working together to improve outcomes for all the children and young people attending the schools. In 2008 Valence became a specialist Sports College and this status plays a significant role in raising students’ achievements and their participation in high quality physical education and sport. The School works proactively with parents and external professionals to provide holistic support for every child and young person. It is also developing high quality outreach support services to local schools and more widely for children and young people in Kent who have physical disabilities who are attending mainstream schools. FOUNDED IN 2008, CENTRAL FILM SCHOOL HAS PROVIDED STUDENTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD WITH THE TOOLS NEEDED TO BECOME PROFESSIONALS IN THE FILM INDUSTRY. Through our BA (Hons), MA and Short Courses, we give students a grounding in all aspects of filmmaking, including both fiction and factual disciplines. Our approach is practical, aided by our small class sizes, student-centred approach to teaching & learning, and the school’s ethos and community atmosphere. The school constantly develops its programmes, and methodology to ensure students are familiar with the most up-to-date professional practices. I completed my UK pilates training and certification with Body Control Pilates (BCP) in 2000, BCP is one of the leading education providers for Pilates teacher training and the most significant professional Pilates organisation outside the USA. I established Pilates in Dulwich in the same year. Committed to my ongoing development, I also undertook advanced studies at Kane School of Core Integration in New York under the tutelage and mentorship of Kelly Kane, one of the most highly regarded and experienced Pilates educators and therapists in the USA. In 2009 I qualified as an osteopath, and completed extensive postgraduate studies including cranial and classical osteopathy, women’s health and training in paediatrics at the world famous Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy in London (aka Osteopathic Centre for Children – OCC). My extended pilates clinical work is influenced by all of these factors some of which have organically integrated into my current evolving non-purist practice, which is underpinned by comprehensive training and certification, and lifelong professional development. I have worked in several highly regarded London clinics to enhance my practice and established my own osteopathic practice to compliment my existing Pilates work. I currently divide my time between private osteopathic practice, teaching Pilates, running community-based first aid training, clinical tutoring, developing, writing and delivering specialist lectures/workshops/courses and completing heaps of continual professional development (CPD) each year.
