Carine Robin has a Master’s Degree in Psychology, specialising in child psychology. She worked for various social services in her home country of Belgium, before moving to Ireland in 2006. It was there that she started working in a nursery and discovered Montessori education. After having her first child, her passion for the philosophy grew and she qualified as a Montessori teacher and managed a preschool. Carine has been running a Montessori based parents and toddler group and coaching families for 9 years. She now also runs an online group for over 14000 parents, sharing her knowledge and passion with people from around the world. In 2018, Carine realised families needed more support and launched her popular online parenting courses and monthly subscription boxes, full of personally designed Montessori materials. Carine has also trained with Sarah Ockwell-Smith in BabyCalm and Toddler Calm, with Dr Laura Markham on Peaceful Parenting and most recently, at the prestigious Maria Montessori school in London, as an AMI Elementary and 0-3 assistant: Carine is also fully trained in child protection, has an up to date paediatric first aid qualification and is fully DBS cleared (CRB).

Crazy 4 KidsWe are currently open on all nursery and Out of School Club sites. Crazy 4 Kids has invested in anti-virus units (Hextio Units) across all sites to help keep the environment safe for staff and children. These units are not a cure for COVID-19 but another layer of protection for the setting along with strict cleaning routines and COVID-19 monitoring. Crazy 4 Kids are committed to creating a ‘clean air’ environment. Crazy 4 Kids was established in 2009, but my passion for children and making a difference started in 1988 when my own children started pre-school and I became a parent helper and realised, that I loved working with children! From that moment on, I have never stopped working toward making a difference for children and their families and was very excited when I opened my first Out of School club in 2009. Crazy 4 Kids now has 6 sites, facilitating approximately 500 families with children aged 6 months to 11 years and a dedicated team of professionals who are equally passionate and want to ‘make a difference’ to children’s lives. Crossford Primary School is situated in the village of Crossford, which is 3 miles west of Dunfermline. The associate secondary school is Queen Anne High School. Crossford School was built in 1973. It is semi-open plan with ten teaching areas. Six of these are situated around a central circular hall and provide accommodation for the older children plus a Library and a General Purpose Room. The four remaining areas are for the younger children and have a separate entrance and cloakroom area. There is also an accessible ramp into the building at this entrance. The Nursery is self-contained in separate accommodation comprising a Medway building with completely enclosed garden and play areas. In addition there is a single annexe which is presently used as a Science, Technology and Music room. The grounds are large with a grassed football patch, hard surface netball and basketball court and trim trail. With the support of the Parent Council we have developed the playground areas and have developed a new quiet garden at the front of the school. We also have developed an outdoor classroom with support from the Parent Council.

If you're moving into Leeds or want to change schools in Leeds, you need to make a school transfer – often called an in-year application. Moving schools can be a difficult experience for a child. You should always speak to your child's current school before trying to move to see what support they can offer you How to apply for an in-year place We are part of the Leeds coordinated in-year application scheme. This means you can apply for a place online using the Leeds in-year application form at Before you move schools (leeds.gov.uk). You can apply for places at our school and most other Leeds schools at the same time on this form. If you have moved house, please upload evidence of the house move with the online application. You can find out what you need to provide on the above website. We have to offer places by applying our admission policy criteria to your child’s application and we will contact you with our decision about offering you a place. We will tell you our decision no later than 15 school days from when you apply. If we cannot offer you a place, we will write to you to explain the reasons, explain how you can appeal and add your child to our waiting list in case a place becomes free.
