Leeds Sanctuary is a network of communities in Leeds City Centre, that each begin with encounter and embody sanctuary and justice, through which individuals and the city flourish in the ways of God’s Kingdom. You can read more about those core values here. We create spaces and resources on and offline for people to connect more deeply with themselves, one another and important issues of social justice. We are exploring craftivism, meditation, mindfulness, climate change, wellbeing, Christian spirituality and much more. We create free mindfulness, meditation and craftivist resources, which are available on our blog. We also run in person events on these themes as well as wellbeing sessions for different groups. If you are interested in learning more about any of this, contact us here. We work in partnership with many organisations and are always looking for new ways of connecting. We are a Christian project for people of all faiths and none run by the Yorkshire West Methodist District. We are building on a strong history of Methodism in Leeds City Centre.

Welcome to London Languages Languages for Business . With over 25 years’ experience, London Languages works with corporate clients in London to provide them with specialised language services allowing their employees to be more effective communicators. Working with a network of professional teachersand industry experts, we find a bespoke solution for your business’ language training needs. We provide English and foreign languages for business to corporate clients, across a variety of different languages including English, Spanish, German, French, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin... We have extensive experience working with HR and L&D teams, line managers and individuals running remote and face-to-face individual and group classes, language workshops, intensive immersion programmes, language assessments for recruitment, cultural coaching and translation and interpreting. Our clients come from a variety of industries including financial services, insurance, law, media, technology, tourism firms etc. We also cater for private clients who need language skills for personal reasons. In April 2019, London Languages joined forces with Professional Language Solutions and our head office is now located in Hammersmith, West London.

Our school caters for children of all abilities in a well-disciplined environment and through a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Our staff are highly qualified, experienced and committed to ensuring that every pupil reaches his or her potential. We currently have over 900 pupils on roll and pride ourselves on being a close-knit community, in which everyone feels valued and involved. This enables children transferring from primary schools to settle in very quickly. We are proud of the way in which our pupils conduct themselves both in school and outside. Visitors frequently compliment them on their ‘confident and courteous behaviour’. During every lesson, pupils’ efforts and conduct are monitored by staff. Commendation stamps are recorded in their planners at the end of a lesson. These are monitored by form tutors in afternoon registration. This programme ensures that pupils who are working well are rewarded; it also indicates those pupils who could try harder. This reward system keeps parents informed, lesson by lesson, about how their child is progressing. It draws on a support network which involves form tutors, heads of department, heads of year, assistant head teachers, parents and ultimately, the head teacher and school governors.
