MARK DEVEREUX PROJECTS (MDP) IS AN INDEPENDENT CURATORIAL AND ARTIST DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION. WE SPECIALISE IN SUPPORTING EARLY TO MID-CAREER ARTISTS THROUGH CREATIVE COLLABORATION AND TAILORED MENTORING. MDP is a small but devoted team seeking to create safer, braver spaces for artists. Our meticulous approach is founded on listening, trust, honesty and caring. We build critical but nurturing relationships with artists across a variety of artforms. We collaborate with artists across the UK to develop and curate ambitious creative projects, ranging from touring solo exhibitions to participatory workshops. This challenges artists through creative risk-taking while introducing their practice to new audiences. Our work creates new paid opportunities for artists that aren’t freely available. Our professional development work focuses on the individual artist, offering a unique pathway outside of institutional programmes. Since 2013 we have provided hundreds of artists with invaluable advice, guidance and critique through one-to-one mentoring sessions, specialist workshops and national artist development programmes. We ensure that our professional development activities are affordable and seek to help artists when cost is a barrier. MDP is committed to dismantling the barriers that often prevent artists from advancing their careers, such as a lack of formal artistic training, childcare responsibilities, or being Disabled or neurodiverse. We work towards our ambition that artists will be valued and paid for their work, able to forge sustainable careers on their own terms.

The original Oxford Wine Company was founded in 1840 and traded from 125 High Street, Oxford until 1914. The name was revived in the early 1990s by Ted Sandbach, metamorphosing from ‘The Oxford Hamper Company through ‘The Oxford Wine and Hamper Company’ and finally becoming ‘The Oxford Wine Company’ in the Spring of 1992. Since then expansion has been rapid and the company now bears very little resemblance to its relatively humble origins in Ted’s garage! These days, The Oxford Wine Company is a multi-award winning local independent wine merchant with a national profile. The company has achieved a Top 10 spot in Harpers Wine & Spirit 50 Best Indies every year, and has won multiple prestigious awards such as ‘Small Chain of the Year’ in the Drinks Retailing Awards and ‘Regional Merchant of the Year’ in the International Wine Challenge. The Oxford Wine Company has three shops in Oxford: on the Botley Road, Turl Street (just around the corner from the original Oxford Wine Company site) and since 2020 on Little Clarendon Street. There is also a shop at the company’s headquarters in Standlake (just outside Witney). In addition to the retail shops we have a thriving wholesale arm, supplying a large range of restaurants, bars and other businesses throughout the South of England, and even have a sales arm in Wales. Our team are passionate about wine and have the qualifications to prove it. Seven of the company’s staff hold the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Diploma, and a further four are studying towards this industry benchmark qualification. One member of our staff is even working towards the Master of Wine, known as one of the world’s most difficult exams. We love to share our knowledge, and also run The Oxford Wine School, which is an accredited programme provide for the WSET, offering beginner to advanced level courses. These structured courses are complemented by our busy events calendar, comprising informal tastings, winemaker-led masterclasses as well as annual fairs and dinners. Most events take place in The Jericho Wine Rooms, a purpose-built tasting room above our Little Clarendon Street shop. Smaller, more intimate tastings take place in the historic and atmospheric cellar beneath our Turl Street Shop. The Oxford Wine Company stocks a range of over two thousand products, ranging from well-known classics to esoteric curiosities across wines, spirits and beers. Our team taste and travel extensively to make sure that each and every bottle on our shelves offers the best quality. We work hard to source wines that suit every palate and pocket. Multiply Music has become a well-known and trusted educational facility in Princes Risborough, delivering a carefully planned learning experience to improve childrens’ maths through music. Students are encouraged to have fun and play interactive games using either electric drums, guitar or piano with their teacher while follow a lesson plan at the same time. WHO ARE WE & WHAT DO WE DO? Multiply Music was born with a vision to create an engaging learning experience which subconsciously teaches children their mathematics via musical, physical and mental games & experiences. Following lots of research, trial and error, and scientific studies, Multiply Music is now a polished service that guarantees to increase information retention across the entire UK National Maths curriculum. Founded in 2018, Multiply Music Group is a privately owned business with headquarters in Buckinghamshire. We were founded by our two directors, Huw Williams and Harry O’Neill following success with the Multiply Music learning methods created by Huw in the years prior. We moved in to our headquarters at Poppy Road, Princes Risborough in the same year, which has quickly grown from two learning pods to six as you see it today. The Multiply Music learning method includes various teaching techniques that aim to keep our students engaged and keen to learn, without seeming like an extension to their school life. Students are encouraged to have fun and play interactive games with their teacher while we do the hard work and ensure they are following lesson plans and learning at the same time. All of our students are guided through the UK national curriculum respective to their age and level of ability, and parents get complete transparency with quarterly graphs of their child’s progression through each topic. Our Multiply Music classes at taught at our facility in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, however online lessons are available via our Multiply Music Online service. APPROVED SEND SERVICES We are an approved provider of SEND services in Buckinghamshire. If your child requires council-approved SEND services, please make sure to highlight this when booking so that the necessary paperwork/protocols can be followed.

Inclusion Support Service Our Inclusion Support Service delivers specialist advice and practical solutions that will support you in the teaching of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We work collaboratively with you to design a bespoke package specific to your needs, providing strategies that help to ensure your children thrive. Our support will leave your school with capacity and capability to have a long lasting impact, and our professional challenge will enable your school staff to develop outstanding SEN and inclusive practices. Our service is comprised of a team of teachers who bring an extensive local and national perspective of SEND best practice. They have substantial specialist knowledge, skills and advanced qualifications in SEN and are experienced classroom practitioners and leaders/managers of SEN provision in schools. We use evidence based approaches from sources such as the Education Endowment Foundation, Whole School SEND, PDNet and the Autism Education Trust and support you to implement these in your context. The team also have well established links to a wide range of other services, professionals and health agencies, as well as a strong professional relationship with NASEN (National Association of SEN) and Bath Spa University. Core services Our service can be accessed on a consultancy basis, or at different levels of subscription with a number of days spread over three terms. We can work with you as an individual school or work with groups of schools to support collaboration and meet your local priorities. The Jo Hyne Dance School is a friendly, local school, with classes in the Totton and Eling Community Centre, Totton, Southampton, Hampshire.photo_3 Jo Hyne Jo has been involved in dance from a young age and was one of an elite few trained by The Royal Ballet School and English National Ballet. Mrs Hyne is also trained and qualified in the ISTD Syllabus (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), which enables children to be put in for ISTD examinations. The school has been established for 8 years now, and is continuing to grow successfully. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Dance, Jazz , Musical Theatre and Street, in a fun but disciplined atmosphere, and the children often get to dance in local fund raising events, school fetes, join in the Carnival and as well as performing in the School Show, children can have the opportunity to audition for local /regional auditions for any productions that arise. BALLET (ISTD). AGE 3 – ADULT This beautiful classical art form is the basis and grounding of all Dance and movement. With its creative lines,artistic shapes and sheer strength, it is the main key to preparing the body to conquer all the other forms of Dance. MODERN DANCE (ISTD) FROM YEAR R- ADULT This is a more energetic, rhythmic dance style which was born in America before travelling worldwide. This is the form often seen in West End shows in the Musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities too. These classes are structured, with set exercises and free work, which include isolations, jumps, and lyrical work. TAP DANCE (ISTD) YEAR R – ADULT This is where the dancer performs wearing special shoes which enable him/ her to strike the floor, beating out different rhythms to give a distinctive sound. This dance form is again found in Musical productions and is also a theatrical art.

The Institute can trace its origins to informal gatherings amongst the earlier pioneers of state school business leadership over 40 years ago. As our education system has evolved, the education workforce has had to adapt. As schools continue to be afforded more local autonomy, and with it more direct accountability, the need for well-trained, qualified and competent school business professionals (SBPs) has become increasingly important in all school leadership structures. Between 2001 and 2012, the National College led a government-sponsored programme to develop thousands of SBPs. The coalition government favoured a move towards a sector-led, self-improving system, which signalled the end of National College SBP sponsored programmes. To continue the important SBP workforce professionalisation work initiated by the National College, in 2017 ISBL became a nationally recognised professional body by being granted the prestigious status of institute. Our role in the education system ISBL’s principal function is to provide all education stakeholders with confidence in the capability of school business professionals. In order to adequately serve our education system, this workforce needs to consist of technically competent, highly skilled and experienced practitioners. Here at ISBL, we set the benchmark for effective practice through sector-endorsed professional standards and provide development opportunities for our professional community and their institutions through a portfolio of quality-assured qualifications, training, resources, research and events. Using a non-partisan approach, we provide the Government with feedback from our community and a technical steer in areas of policy relevant to our expertise. In essence, we act as the conduit between policy and practice. We support all school business professionals We recognise the professional diversity that exists within the SBP community. In a mixed-economy education system, it is inevitable that there will be a variety of operating models – some very large and some much smaller. The structures that support these organisations will differ, as will levels of responsibility, accountability and complexity. It is therefore unsurprising that there are many versions of the SBP role. As an institute, it is our aim to develop and support practitioners at every stage of their career journey, whether they are an aspiring SBP, a practitioner in a standalone setting or indeed operating at an executive level across a number of schools.
