The National Videogame Museum is the UK’s only museum dedicated solely to videogames with a mission to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret videogames for everyone. Forever. Work together or compete with favourites like Track & Field, Rockband, or Sheffield’s own party game Gang Beasts or even discover games made exclusively for the NVM like Super Snowball Fight Party [https://thenvm.org/games/super-snowball-fight-party/], a six-player game created by the Museum’s own creative engineer! Sheffield's strong game heritage is also celebrated in the Museum, hosting games from the city and surrounding Yorkshire areas. Favourites include Sumo Digital’s Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing, Gremlin Graphics’ Zool and Team 17’s Worms. Alongside weekly openings throughout the year, the Museum is open every day during the school holidays, where visitors can enjoy additional drop-in workshops developed by the NVM’s award winning Learning Team. From designing a videogame character to programming a mini-robot, the activities are both fun and varied! The National Videogame Museum also welcomes school trips [https://thenvm.org/learning/educational-visits/] that include optional STEAM based activities and workshops, while birthday parties and private hires are also popular events available for bookings.  The NVM has step-free access and is all on one floor, making it accessible for all wheelchair users, while ear defenders are also available on request for visitors with audio sensitivities. The National FGM Centre is a partnership between Barnardo’s and the Local Government Association (LGA) to achieve a systems change in the provision of services for children and families affected by Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Funded by the Department of Education as part of its Children’s Social Care Innovation Programme, the Centre works closely with key partners from Local Authorities, Health, Education, Police, and the voluntary sector to achieve its vision and aims. In 2017, the Centre’s remit was extended to include Breast Ironing/Flattening and Child Abuse Linked to Faith or Belief.

National Insurance Academy (NIA) is a premier institution devoted to equip the insurance industry with the best of talents. Its close association with the Insurance industry provides the 'real life' reference to its training, education, research and consultancy activities. NIA was established in 1980 jointly by the Ministry of Finance - Government of India, Life Insurance Corporation of India, General Insurance Corporation of India, The New India Assurance Company, National Insurance Company, United India Insurance Company and The Oriental Insurance Company on 16th December, 1980 in Mumbai to be the institute of excellence in learning and research in Insurance, Pension and allied areas.The Academy was shifted to Pune on 4th June, 1990 with the state-of-the-art facilities for learning and research. Initial years of NIA were dedicated to Management Development Programmes catering to the insurance industry professionals to enhance the management skills and do main expertise. Later, the two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management course was initiated to fulfill the growing demand of skilled professionals in Insurance and Risk Management. The programme offers dual expertise in management and Insurance. The Academy has a sprawling (approximately 32 acres) campus housing the administrative, academic, hostel and residential facilities amidst lush greenery. The campus is self sufficient with a Bank, Post Office, Dispensary, Sports, Gymnasium and Swimming Pool facilities.

The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of our members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice. The Society plays an important role within the profession of hypnotherapy in the UK and in 2013 the Society was the first (and to date the only) solely Hypnotherapy organisation to gain Accredited Register status with the Professional Standards Authority AR programme. As an Accredited Register holder we meet the robust and exacting standards set by the Professional Standards Authority with particular emphasis on public safety and assuring that the best interests of the clients are protected. The National Hypnotherapy Society believes that all Accredited Registers should be seen as equal. To this end, we were instrumental in gaining recognition within the NHS for all Accredited Registers. NHS Employers has added content encouraging the use and detailing the benefits of Accredited Registers. We are a not for profit organisation and the high standards of our Accredited Register are externally verified by the Professional Standards Authority. The organisation is bound by appropriate rules of governance including a constitution, codes of ethics, and a complaints procedure.
