Second Floor Studios & Arts (SFSA) was established in 1997. It is a leading arts organisation providing affordable studio space for visual and fine artists' and craft and designer makers. Our core aim is providing best quality studios at monthly rental prices our studio members can afford and whom would otherwise struggle to find comparable studio workspace on the open commercial market. About the Academy Our academy was established in Great Britain in 2012, its founder is a professional photographer, documentary filmmaker and graphic designer Mariusz Śmiejek, who published his photos in magazines around the world, winner of many awards, including the National Geographic magazine award for the best photojournalism. With a great passion for sharing knowledge, and a lot of experience in conducting workshops outdoors and in the studio, we offer intensive weekend photography workshops and courses for beginners, intermediate users of digital cameras. We also run several-day workshops for advanced photographers who are thinking about the next steps towards professional photography and for enthusiasts who want to learn how professionals work, listen to their tips and learn their secrets. We provide a wonderful, cordial atmosphere in an intimate group of positively "freaky" photography enthusiasts, which usually results in long acquaintances. Our workshops are prepared in such a way that in small groups and in a nice atmosphere, each participant has the best opportunity to learn the secrets of photography. The program is prepared in such a way that you can learn to use various photography and post-production techniques on your own photos under the guidance of award-winning and appreciated professionals with experience in Poland and abroad. After our workshops, you will look at the world around you in a completely different way and you will start consciously pressing the shutter button of your cameras, which will have a significant impact on the quality of your photos.

My name is Eva. I am a qualified and experienced counsellor based in Castlewellan, Co. Down. I have been a practising counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist since 2004. I studied in Coventry University from 1993 to 1996 and have a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Sciences. I have a post graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (2002- 2004) and I am a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity (National Centre for Eating Disorders 2007-2008). I am BACP Accredited so abide to their professional standards and ethical framework of good practice. Counselling is an excellent tool for discovering yourself. At Empower, it’s so important that clients see themselves as the people with the power and the ability to improve their quality of life as they grow. Testimony I struggled for years with anxiety and depression without really knowing why and always searching for the ‘fix’. When I started with Eva I wanted her to fix me. It was only with her support and guidance that I came to realise where my pain was coming from and how to learn from it and how to understand my feelings. It was a real journey of self discovery for me. Now I understand there is no magic cure, but there doesn’t need to be. Ive learned to accept myself and to allow the feelings to come and go without taking over my life. This really has been life changing for me. I feel strong for the first time and am ready to live the life I choose to live.

Sarah is supported by a professional team who also have the same drive to enable students to achieve beyond their own expectations. As Teach Perfect matures, we will add more subjects to our learning programme and more teaching professionals will join us. Our mission is to be the leader in lifesaving and lifeguarding in the UK and Republic of Ireland. BORN TO SWIM is a small swimming school established for 16 years. We have taught thousands of babies and children throughout the London area with amazing results. As we like to say, we teach from crib to competition. We are passionate about what we do and as well as teaching we wish to inspire our swimmers. From our baby and toddler classes, to our children’s lessons and our bespoke one-to-one sessions you can see the differences between BORN TO SWIM members to babies and children taught elsewhere. We have little ones as young as 3 years old swimming 10 metres. Okay, it may not be the national recognised stroke at this point, but it is definitely not doggy paddle. We NEVER ever teach doggy paddle or use armbands. Our teachers are enthusiastic about our approach and are all trained in the BORN TO SWIM building block methodology. They love what they do. They love children and have bags of patience and understanding little ones needs. They are energetic, build confidence, give support and tons of encouragement. Our teachers make swimming lessons fun whist learning, creating a conducive learning environment. ALL of our teachers hold ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) or STA (Swimming Teachers’ Association) level 2 qualifications, CRB Enhanced Disclosure checks and a RLSS or NRASTC qualification.
