Welcome to Endeavour Academy! Our specialist school and children's home in Oxford is for children and young people aged between 8 and 19 with autism and severe learning difficulties who benefit from an autism specific environment. Developed in a partnership between MacIntyre Academies Trust and Oxfordshire County Council Endeavour was set up to meet the needs of students and their families locally. Our Academy tailors the national curriculum to students’ individual needs with a strong focus on gaining life skills that help independence. We work closely with parents and carers of each student to ensure the whole family is fully supported and reassured that their child is safe and happy, respected and celebrated. This includes the offer of flexible residential opportunities in our onsite Children’s Home. Our aim is to provide our children and young people with the skills and opportunities that will equip them to live purposeful lives. The curriculum we follow helps to ensure that all students receive a highly personalised, relevant education - with communication and sensory integration embedded. For our students who spend time in our residential provision, this includes a waking day curriculum which focuses on educational, social and emotional development as well as sensory aspects of the curriculum. Our staff work creatively and flexibly to tailor-make learning opportunities that motivate our students and reinforce learning. About After studying illustration, Stacey Chapman worked as a designer of interiors for events and corporate launches. She began Freehand Machine Embroidery after viewing the process on Kirstie Allsopp’s Channel 4 show. In November 2013 she founded her business, Art Sea Craft Sea, creating pet portraits in thread, to commission. Her unique application of the freehand machine embroidery process and background as an illustrator, enables her to create strikingly life like thread paintings. Since then she has exhibited around the UK at events ranging from Crufts to Countryfile Live and Kirstie Allsopp's Handmade Fair. Stacey was proud to be taken under the wing of Janome in 2016 and has taught workshops at their custom built sewing school at their HQ in Stockport. Chapman has gone on to teach creative sewing workshops around the country from regular sessions at John Lewis in Oxford Street to her hometown of Margate, Kent. For these sessions at the luxe Sands Hotel, Stacey was nominated for a Tourism and Hospitality Award in 2019 as well as being shortlisted for the National Needlecraft Awards in the same year. In 2020 started teaching online for the prestigious teaching college for the W.I., Denman at Home. As well as writing her monthly column for the UK's best selling sewing magazine, Love Sewing, Stacey still creates and exhibits in local galleries with her vintage style portraiture and fashion Illustrations featuring up cycled retro fabrics, revisiting a technique she began at school.

The author of the courses, Gwynne Richards has over thirty-five years’ experience in warehouse management and logistics. He began his career with BRS a forerunner of Exel Logistics which later became part of DHL. He then went on to work for Dawson Group, Lane Group, Nedlloyd Districenters and DHL. Roles included Business Development Manager, Regional Manager, National Sales Manager, Customer Services and IT Manager. He founded his own logistics consultancy and training company in 2003. Gwynne works with companies through both training and consultancy to improve their logistics operations, benchmark performance and decide whether to outsource or not.  His three-day face to face course on Warehouse Management is sponsored by the UKWA.  The online Warehouse Management course available here is endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. (see below) He has recently co-written the Warehouse Manager’s Certificate of Professional Competence course which is accredited by the CILT and operated by the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA). He is a visiting lecturer in Supply Chain at Warwick University.  He is the Course Director for the Diploma in Logistics Management which is provided through North Kent Colledge and Lloyd’s Maritime Academy. Gwynne has also lectured at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok and The Singapore Institute of Management.  He runs courses in the UK, India, Malaysia, China, UAE, Africa and The Philippines. He has also produced on-line courses in Warehouse Management, Freight transport and warehousing and Logistics Outsourcing. He is a Fellow of both the CILT and the ITOL. He is a Practising Associate of the Academy of Experts. His book on Warehouse Management published by Kogan Page has sold over 20,000 copies worldwide. A fifth edition will be launched in 2025. The book has been translated into five other languages. A book on Logistics and Supply Chain tools was published in July 2016. It is also in its fourth edition. He has also co-authored a book on Logistics Outsourcing which was published in December 2019.

Award-winning conductor, pianist and composer, Claudio Di Meo has established himself internationally as an exceptional talent in orchestral and choral music, bringing clarity, integrity and dynamism to his interpretation of wide-ranging repertoire. Winner of the International Conducting Competition Westminster London with the London Classical Soloists, Claudio Di Meo began his musical life in Italy, where he studied piano, composition and conducting, winning First Prize at the Italian National Choir Conducting Competition in 2011 and First Prize at the Enrico Caruso International Competition in 2014. An ardent exponent of the music of Sibelius, Claudio is a member of the prestigious Sibelius Society Italia, whose Honorary President is Sir Antonio Pappano. Claudio Di Meo has performed regularly on the international stage, including appearances in Hungary (Olasz VendègKòrus Concert Hall, Budapest), Sri Lanka (A New Direction International Performing Arts Festival, Colombo), Mexico (Festival de las Almas, Valle de Bravo), Lebanon (Al Bustan Festival, Beirut), Singapore (The Silent Lines of Its Lips), Cyprus (Lefkoşa International Festival), France (La scene Parisienne), and the USA (2014 New Year Concert, St. John the Divine Cathedral, New York). Recent chamber music engagements include performances with soprano Olivia Robinson (BBC Singers), Nicholas Korth (Co-principal Horn BBC Symphony Orchestra), Selena Markson (Co-principal Clarinet of Goteborgs Symfoniker), Susanna Candlin (former Co-leader London Mozart Players) and Hans Adler (Principal double bass of Goteborgs Symfoniker). In addition to conducting, Claudio Di Meo is widely experienced in film music, musical theatre and thematic musical stage productions as both pianist and composer. A specialist in Italian film music, Claudio Di Meo won a composition award in 2013 from the Governor of the State of Mexico and the Director of the National Conservatory in Mexico City in recognition of his “great professionalism and future potential as a composer of music for cinema.” Recent highlights include a production of Maria Callas The Black Pearl, which premiered in a series of performances at the prestigious Esplanade Theatre in Singapore and subsequently in Paris and at Grange Park Opera in England, with Claudio Di Meo as Music Director and composer.. Claudio Di Meo’s discography as a pianist includes recordings of Ravel’s Ma mère l’Oye and Debussy’s Six épigraphes antiques, as well as his own compositions Oceano di cielo and most recently, Memories, a collection of 10 pieces for solo piano. This collection has also been published by Upper Esk Music, alongside Three Motets for the Virgin Mary, a collection of his choral music. Claudio Di Meo recognises the importance of music education and is highly skilled in developing the talent of young performers. Appointed Principal Conductor of Dacorum Youth Orchestra in September 2015, Claudio Di Meo continues to inspire a new generation of musicians with his infectious enthusiasm and commitment to achieving high levels of performance. In October 2018 he was appointed Principal Conductor of the Hemel Symphony Orchestra and, as a freelance conductor, has been invited to work with other London-based orchestras, including the London Classical Soloists, Trinity Orchestra Harrow, and Watford Symphony Orchestra, among others. In May 2020 Claudio Di Meo has also been appointed Principal Conductor of the Kensington Philharmonic Orchestra, in London.
