It was housed at The Masonic Lodge, Batu Lintang, Kuching, then moved to The Sarawak Club, then to Pearse Road in 1969. It finally moved to its present site in Tabuan Jaya in 1984. I am an award-winning documentary filmmaker and my cinematography can be seen on multiple Emmy and RTS nominated wildlife series. My work includes blue chip natural history projects for both National Geographic and the BBC. My most recent work as principle camera operator can be seen on the immersive and groundbreaking series Savage Kingdom (series 2-4). I have extensive experience filming independently and as part of team in remote locations from Southern Africa to the High Arctic, working with a multitude of wild animals. Spending extended periods of time in these settings, I have developed extensive skills in animal tracking and behavioural knowledge, advanced abilities in vehicle maintenance and mechanics as well as extensive off-road / 4x4 driving experience.

Drive Doctors use like-minded professional drivers and instructors. The team are enthusiastic and professional – hand-picked for their motorsport passion, road safety knowledge, patience and communication skills – they deliver training and events in a relaxed and informal way. In 2012, Drive Doctors launched the UK’s National Road Safety Campaign “Drive it Home” and trained over 200 young drivers in car control and how to be safer on the roads.

We are very fortunate to have our Powerboat school situated in Dun Laoghaire Harbour with its large area of sheltered water which is ideal for year round boat training. It is the perfect location to carry out the many scenarios that are required in powerboat training such as moorings, pontoons, fairways, slipways, commercial and leisure traffic, etc. If you have a little experience, our National Powerboat Certificate (driving licence) will give you the basic skills. You start your training in a small 3.6 metre RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) and then progress up to a 5.85 metre RIB. This allows you to be certified for both tiller and console type boats. If you are experienced and require the Certificate, a direct assessment is also available.
