I set up Albany Pet Services with the support of the Princes Trust Charity. After university I took some routes down the corporate route. I had visions that lunches in London and walking past the Heron tower and the Gherkin would carrying my Kate Spade handbag would fulfil me but it didn’t! In search of more meaning in my work, I joined a charity and learnt about the power of how dogs learn. It fascinated me how much trust a person could place in their dogs and how clever dogs were. From here, after my contract ended, I started Albany Pet Services. I’m fascinated by neuroscience and how it can help to build habits and reach goals. I look at a pets behaviour from a holistic approach. It’s important for me to understand a pet’s behaviour from their early life experiences and previous reinforcement that makes them behave this way. Sometimes the need the pet is desiring is not always food so it’s important for me to look at a behaviour from a motivation perspective. I believe training can help a pet be safe in our busy world, and when done correctly can be an excellent preventative strategy for behavioural challenges. Consent is key, for human and non human learners. My training service can help you to feel more confident with your dog and help you to stress less. I have spent hundreds of hours studying, reading, writing reports and training and I would love to share what I have learnt to overcome the particular challenge you’re experiencing. I volunteer for the Blue Cross providing talks for children in schools about canine choice, pet care and staying safe around dogs. This is really important to me as many dog bites can be preventable. When I am not working with people and their pets, I enjoy watching and participating in my local theatre and running group. I also love singing and dancing ( I’m yet to master them but I enjoy them nevertheless!). Flying a plane is the next goal!

We offer our all our members both Cardio and Resistance training, depending on their goals. We take our time to find out what they actually want to achieve, preferences, niggles & then provide them with a plan to help them towards this goal. The take pride in our customer service, you wont find this in any big gym! We have 3 qualified Personal Trainers on site, ready and willing to give you any advice, guidance or just to chat to. All our gym members have access to our gym (during opening hours) plus we offer a variety of classes from gentle fitness, bootcamp, barbells & clubbercise plus many more, we listen to our members and change the classes every 3 months reflecting their requests & to get them training in different ways. Our classes are both face to face, online & on demand with a library of previous classes for them to dip in and out of, as and when it suits them. Our Personal Trainers are qualified in a variety of different training methods and can offer clients online, 1-2-1, and small groups sessions. Now modern studies have shown that singing, and sound therapy improve health and well-being, and have been linked to neuro-chemical changes effecting reward, motivation and pleasure, stress and arousal, immunity function, and social affiliation.  In this workshop Molly teaches vocal techniques to release tension in the body using an ancient Chi Gong energy exercise meditation. This meditation uses the voice to naturally support the breathing technique learned at the start of the workshop, and sound and vibration to allow our electricity to easily move through us. Singing Singing is a natural anti-depressant. It has been proven to reduce stress, boost the immune system, enhance memory, and stimulate the release of oxytocin which is the love and connection hormone. Singing in a group is especially good for this, as oxytocin is released when we bond with each other. Oxytocin has amazing health benefits, including helping wounds heal faster, and slowing down the aging process, and is also a cardioprotective hormone. Oxytocin lowers blood pressure, and acts as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory for the cardiovascular system. In this section of the workshop Molly will teach easy songs to bring everything together so we can easily use the breath and the voice to promote health and wellbeing. Singing together lifts people up, and you can see the difference in people at the end of the workshop. You don’t need to have any previous experience in music or singing. Everyone is welcome, and exercises will be simple and easy to learn.
