Children start their lessons with us from about 3 years of age, some a couple of months earlier if they are confident. It is ideal if children are ok in arm bands, happy bobbing around in the water without parents support. If they are used to other types of floats that is fine. If children are swimming without floats but being held by parents they will probably use a back float and arm bands with us to start with, as they build up their motor skills.
