All the courses I run have one main aim, to equip you with everything you need, to have a birth you feel calm and confident about. I will teach you how your body works during labour and birth, tools and techniques to work with your body and make labour as comfortable as possible for you, including massage techniques your birth partner can use, and mindset work to help you work through any nerves, fears or doubts you may have. My courses are all based on science and logic, there is no woo-woo involved (although I don’t mind a bit of woo if you want to bring your own) and my approach to teaching is very open and honest, no questions are off limits, I am here to support you and your birth choices. There is a common misconception that hypnobirthing is a type of birth, or can only be used for certain kinds of birth. This couldn’t be further from the truth, so whether you are planning a home birth or an elective caesarean, you will benefit from a hypnobirthing course.

The mental health farming charity has grown and covers the whole of Wales with all areas of support. The DPJ Foundation works with leading organisations in agriculture including NFU Cymru, FUW, YFC, vets and Welsh Government to help provide an accessible and flexible service. daniel picton-jones mental health support services Daniel Picton-Jones The DPJ Foundation was set up in July 2016 following the death of Daniel Picton-Jones. The DPJ Foundation aims to support those in the agricultural sector suffering from poor mental health. Daniel’s mental health problems went undiagnosed and unseen by many. Daniel was an agricultural contractor, he was part of a sector with one of the highest suicide rates. His widow Emma decided to set up the foundation to support the mental health of those in the farming sector, for those who feel just as Daniel did, providing them with the support that he didn’t know how to get.

We deliver accredited, early intervention programmes to improve the emotional intelligence of predominantly BAME vulnerable young people permanently excluded from mainstream school, on the verge of exclusion or those regularly absent from school. We guide young people to learn alternative strategies that will build self-esteem, build emotional intelligence and resilience by showing them how to think and learn and shift their mindset to determine better future outcomes and increase their locusts of control. Young people will acquire the skills and attitudes necessary to be productive and responsible in their communities and develop their independence. Young people will feel empowered by developing their self-awareness, self-knowledge and self-insight through a strengths-based coaching approach. Their first step to a successful self is engagement and participation in the IDENTITY Project, followed by engagement in the Leadership Project and engagement in the Entrepreneurship Programme.
