Hi, welcome to my page. I’m Sam, owner and founder of AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training. If you have landed here then do have a look around and I hope what I offer resonates with you. I don’t like to be pigeon-holed these days so it’s very difficult to keep on top of all the things I offer and put them all in a “website” friendly way, so if there is anything you wish to ask me, or need clarifying, please just email me and let’s have a chat! So, on with the “about me”….. I created AuroraStar in 2008 with a desire to empower people and help them achieve harmony, health and well-being. After suffering from my own health issues, I sought to treat myself as naturally as possible, beginning my journey into a holistic approach to lifestyle wellness management. Reiki was my stepping stone, and continues to be the foundation and underpinning of all my holistic work. This led me to want to help others in the same way, providing them with the overwhelming benefits that a holistic lifestyle can bring. Having worked in the industry for a number of years now, I am fully qualified to NVQ level 3 , VTCT standard, insured, and registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists, and the Association of Professional Therapists and Lecturers With a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years in the health, beauty and fitness industry, I have an in-depth knowledge on the capability of the body and all it can accomplish if given the correct tools. So many health problems can be overcome or eased through holistic therapies, ensuring our quality of life is greatly enhanced. I am now trained in many different energy modalities and holistic therapies, and weave all of these into my work. Whether you are in need of simple relaxation or deeper healing, I offer a treatment that will suit any requirement, and training that will allow you to empower yourself to follow your own healing journey. I like to think I sit nicely balanced between the “woowoo” and the grounded!

Autism Bedfordshire’s services help break down the barriers to social participation for autistic people and their families by providing places where they can go and feel comfortable, accepted and not judged by society. With the encouragement and support of specialist trained staff we help autistic people build their confidence, self-esteem, and social skills through taking part in social activities and mixing with other people. Furthermore, we help them to develop practical skills and independence which will improve their prospects in life and help them be part of the community. Our aspirations are for them to have the same opportunities as people who are not on the spectrum, so that they can enjoy fulfilled and rewarding lives. How we can help The physical and emotional stress of looking after an autistic child or adult is a huge strain on the parents and we want them to feel that they are not alone in their struggles. They can come to us for practical advice, information and emotional support so that they will be better equipped to cope with and care for their autistic children and any other siblings. We provide opportunities for them to have a guilt-free break from their caring responsibilities, safe in the knowledge their autistic child is being well looked after by staff who understand the challenges that autism can present. Communities Finally, we raise awareness of autism in the community in order to reduce misunderstanding about the condition. Through training and informative talks we educate schools, local businesses and community groups about the sort of behaviours that an autistic person may display and how best to respond to and be supportive of them. With our increasing presence at community events, members of the public can also become more knowledgeable about and accepting of autism. In this way we hope that autistic people will find it easier to engage with and integrate into mainstream society.

Relationships are all around us – from our relationship with ourselves to how we interact with other in both our personal and business lives. They are also ever changing. For me, understanding how my relationship with myself has been formed and shaped over the years and how this has impacted my outward behaviours towards others was a life changing experience. Now I help my clients do the same – creating healthy and harmonious relationships across their world. I am committed to empowering my clients to feel their best and embrace their true self. Initially I trained as a Coach whilst working in one of the most successful business on the planet – coaching their senior team leaders to success – I loved coaching, but having gone through some serious life transformations myself including bereavement, separation, divorce and severe anxiety, I also discovered the power of Psychotherapy and after being encouraged to re-train I know it was the missing piece to creating a way to really empower my clients to shine. Through this training I became fascinated with our behaviours towards ourselves and to others. I firmly believe relationships is where the magic can happen. Ali is the author of best seller Reconnect Your Life – based on her successful Reconnection Programme. Ali lives in a beautiful cottage in Kempston ‘The Three Fishes’ with a very patient hubby – which is also where the Bemoore HQ sits within the grounds. Together they are parents / co parents of 5 wonderful headstrong and independent children spanning an age gap of 24 years and a crazy sprocker called Reggie with currently 2 diva ducks in resident.
