OUR STORY Playback is a youth engagement, training, and IAG provider working across London. We support young people to access further education, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities. Our core ethos is underlined by our main value, which is to provide young people from a range of backgrounds opportunities to succeed (giving youth another go). Established in 2009, we initially used creative media as a form of youth engagement. We have supported various local authority youth services and schools to engage with hard to reach young people and improve their prospects. We have since developed our (RSP) Ready For Success Programme that includes a range of workshops and activities to address the issues faced by young people at risk of becoming NEET. Stephen Shiell and Hannah White are artist duo Blanc Sceol. Their compositions, interventions and performances express their experience of place, anchored in what is found in a landscape but re-imagined into new territories. They create encounters to connect both materially and energetically to their surroundings. They are certified Deep Listening® practitioners and regularly run workshops and sound walks exploring listening and sound making in public spaces. They have worked with a variety of and experimental platforms such as Anti-university, Fort Process, We’re All Bats, MIA festival and Art’s Birthday and cultural institutions such as Ashmolean Museum, The Royal Academy, Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe and Oxford Contemporary Music. In 2018 they established Surge Cooperative, a collaborative effort to benevolently occupy the Channelsea river in London. Their research seeks to live with, listen with and act with this vital living system, finding new ways to tackle problems of neglect and misuse whilst navigating ancient acts of parliament and institutional backwaters to fight for the protection of this waterway.

Founded in 1985 by Beverley Glean with the principal aim of heightening the profile of Black dance in Britain, the company set out to create a repertory of works reflective of the African Caribbean influence on the Black British cultural experience.

Based at the E-Innovation Centre at the University of Wolverhampton, the Imagine team is a tight knit group of dedicated IT trainers and social media experts led by Training Director, Karen Turner. Imagine trains delegates on a variety of software, including Microsoft 365 – such as Excel Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project, Visio, SharePoint and Office. Here at Imagine we really care about the relationship between course tutor and delegate.
