Revalidated in 2021, these programmes offer flexibility to create bespoke packages that fully support future career aspirations. They also complement the RNCM Graduate School, which provides a stimulating environment for advanced studies in performance (including conducting), composition, musicology, music psychology, and music education. Additionally, the College is home to Junior RNCM, a vibrant community of gifted young musicians aged eight to 18. Each Saturday during term time, they study with exceptional tutors, perform with like-minded people, learn transferrable skills for life, and create a solid platform for further study at a conservatoire or university.

Our mission is to build capacity within the community education sector. We aim to: Grow our consortium of supplementary schools across the Greater Manchester area. Share teaching, research, capital and human resources across the consortium. Focus on teaching core curriculum subjects (English, Maths and Sciences). Use digital, creative education and training as well as heritage studies as media for teaching core curriculum subjects. Provide high quality, academically relevant extra-curricular enrichment activities across the consortium. Support volunteer teachers across the consortium with their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Initial Teacher Training (ITT). Support CPD and ITT with high quality community-led research Form partnerships with educational, cultural and social providers to continually strengthening our educational provision within the communities we serve. Expand our programme of community lifelong learning initiatives. Mentor young people in employability and enterprise skills. Develop education and enterprise programmes which include apprenticeship programmes. Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills success at MEaP With our joint responsibilities for teacher training plus curriculum and teacher mentoring, we are very excited about our plans for the Continuing Professional Development of all of our staff. The Manchester Airport Academy is an employment hub for the airport and our business partners and is run in partnership with Trafford College. A one-stop shop for anyone interested in on-site vacancies, it provides free tailored training programmes to enable job-seekers to gain relevant skills and secure employment at the airport. The training programmes offer a unique opportunity to get onto the aviation industry employment ladder. Attendees learn the basics and the terminology needed to succeed at the airport, boosting their confidence when applying for a role. They also have access to current vacancies and receive unique support in applying for roles following the programme, including CV and mock interview workshops.
