Maternity Services at ASPH We were extremely saddened to read the recently
published report into maternity services at Shrewsbury and Telford and
understand that our families in Surrey may have concerns about their care and
that of their baby. We would like to assure you that the safety of our birthing
services is our top priority. The maternity services provided by Ashford and St
Peter’s Hospital are committed to providing safe birthing services, and we
continue to work with system partners to improve our services. We are also
reviewing the recommendations from the Ockenden Report to ensure we are
following the latest best practice.
