At Redwood Scholars we work with bespoke resources as well as carefully selected range of supplementary teaching materials to give our students the best learning experience during their 80 minute tutoring sessions, classes for home schooled students or Montessori workshops. All our resources are up-to-date and reflect current requirements of early years, primary and secondary school curriculum. To ensure success, our teachers explore psychology behind children - their behaviours, learning journeys as well as emotional and social development. Education and learning are an enormous entity which requires a great deal of skill to impart knowledge to others successfully. This is why we make sure that our teachers are professionals who share our passion for discovering and developing potentials in every child who attends our centres. Being OFSTED registered as a child care provider, we follow OFSTED guidlines for policies and best practice to ensure safety, security and high quality provision for all our students. All our tutors are DBS checked. The five-story structure was designed by KMD Architects with the goal of creating a healing environment. The exterior of the building, veneered in brick and wood resin materials, was designed to be responsive to the surrounding neighborhood, and the construction followed sustainable building practices that received LEED Silver certification from the United States Green Building Council. The interior space of the Osher Center incorporates nature, natural light and fresh air, simply organized spaces, and pleasant colors and textures. Spaces are intimate and friendly and promote relaxation. The Osher Center also includes features not typically found in conventional medical clinics or academic institutions, such as large group rooms for yoga and meditation instruction, the Takahashi Japanese Healing Garden, and treatment rooms for acupuncture, massage therapy, biofeedback, and mind-body awareness. Our facility contributes to the well-being of its staff and faculty occupants and supports the healing process of patients.

The Five Minute Literacy Box and The Five Minute Number Box have been opened by children of all ages since 2003. Since then, the activities and materials have been updated as necessary with best practice dyslexia teaching. When Jane Kendall (BA, Dip RSA SpLD) founded Five Minute Box she realised the effects that early failure has on self esteem and the impact that anxiety has on working relationships in families and peer groups. Jane worked as a Primary School class teacher, Inclusion manager and trainer of Teaching Assistants in the UK. With her training and experience in Specific Learning Difficulties, she observed that many children in each class were struggling with English and Maths early in their education. She found that using structured multisensory programmes of specific games for just a few minutes each day helped children overcome their difficulties while learning strategies to help themselves. Five Minute Boxes are now used by children all over the world. Early use of Five Minute Box interventions helps identify children with potential specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia or dyscalculia. The activities adapt to each child’s differences. Children love taking ownership over their learning using the Boxes. They learn organisational and sequencing skills and help to choose their session goals. Children experience success, which motivates them further.

The founder of Peony Blue, Jonna, spent her childhood running wild in the beautiful nature of Finland. The winters were spent enjoying the snowy landscapes and muted colours, and summers spent listening to the wind in the trees and the sound of waves at her grandparents' summer cottage on a small island. These memories have given her a huge love and appreciation of the nature around us. Jonna uses her roots deep in Nordic nature as a constant inspiration for her work and is committed to being respectful of the environmental impact made by her industry. Since graduating Jonna has explored many ways of creating floral designs using natural, biodegradable and recyclable materials. In the early years of Peony Blue, Jonna concentrated on wedding work and creating gorgeous wedding flowers for her clients as well as teaching other flower lovers about floristry. After the Covid pandemic put a stop for weddings and workshops, she rediscovered her long time dream of running a florist shop where she can combine beautiful flowers, eco friendly homewares and spreading joy with flowers on daily basis. After seven years of dreaming, the first Peony Blue shop will open its doors in Bournemouth in April 2021.
