NEEDLE FELTING WORKSHOP Saturday 7th June, 10am till 12.30pm at H1 Building, Hill of Rubislaw, Aberdeen Suitable for beginners (Adults & Teens). Join Léla from The Green Boat for some needle felting fun! making a needle felted Puffin. All materials, tuition and light refreshments are included in the price, plus you will also get to keep your needle and a pad to continue your needle felting adventures at home. Using imprinted details into the clay you will create your own serving board, perfect for charcuterie, cheese or your favourite nibbles. Along side a matching tapas bowl to add extra treats! This will be a lovely relaxed workshop, perfectly suited for beginner potters. Your tutor will guide you through step by step to create your beautiful pieces. There will be a choice of imprinting tools and materials to personalise your piece. Finally you will have a choice of four glaze colours the tutor will complete your work after the bisque firing. Pieces will be ready to collect 3/4 weeks after the workshop.

This is a two week programme incorporating eight different modules including: Module 1 - Basic Electrics and PAT Module 2 - Engines / Power Systems Module 3 - Non-Mechanical Equipment Module 4 - Basic Hydraulics and Hydrostatic Drive Module 5 - Powered Access Equipment Module 5 LLA - Low Level Access specific element Module 6 - Workshop H&S Essentials Module 7 - Materials Hoists including Sumner 2000 series and Genie SLAs During the programme the learner is inducted on their Level 2 NVQ in Plant Maintenance or Level 3 in Thorough Examination. One week with us and then a period back at work (4 weeks or less) to gather work based evidence and then a further week back at our Penybont training centre ​At 1/2 a point per course the training is worth up to 4 points towards your IPAF CAP certification. The Level 2 PM is worth a further 2 points and the Level 3 Thorough Examination is worth 4 points.
