National Taekwondo Club (NTC) was established more than five decades ago by Master Hetherington, making it officially the UK’s longest-serving Taekwondo Club. In addition to Derby, we have three branches in Nottingham (Nottingham Central, Arnold and OMAC-UK in Gedling), Coventry, Liverpool, London, and Rotherham. National Taekwondo Club – Derby (NTC Derby) is a non for profit organisation whose objectives are: Taekwondo Promotion The advancement of the sport by promoting the game of Taekwondo for the benefits of the residents of Derby and its environs. Life Improvement The provision of facilities for the learning, teaching, and playing of Taekwondo for the benefits of the residents of Derby and its environs with object of improving the condition of life. Many Taekwondo instructors will tell you that Taekwondo is an Olympic sport, which is true, but not all will tell you that we are the only Taekwondo Club in the city of Derby that practices Olympic Taekwondo as developed and practiced in South Korea and the only group that is a full member of the official national governing body for Olympic Taekwondo, and that is British Taekwondo which’s functions include responsibility for the selection of National Teams to compete at International and Olympic level. We have trained British and European champions. We have also had a number of students selected to train with and represent Great Britain. We also have dedicated children’s classes throughout the week at school venues across the UK.

Accreditation Currently the Institute is accredited by the International Association for Theological Accreditation (IATA) which offers Certificate, Diploma and Bachelors’ Degree courses. The LSMT is recognized by the School of Ministries in USA as a Level I category institution to teach the Certificate In Ministerial Studies (CIMS) program which could earn College Credit hours with the Lee University, Cleveland, Tennessee, USA. We are negotiating to partner with the Global School of Open Learning, formerly known as the Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore, India (eLearning Programmes) to offer the Master of Divinity Degree.

We are a Community Interest Company based at 3-7 Hannahstown Rd, Lisburn BT28 3TB. WE deliver an educational and mental wellbeing service to youth and adult off road riders. We offer training for novice youth / adult off road riders. We cover all aspects of off road riding, MX, Trials and Enduro and deliver this province wide with additional locations in Craigavon, Newry and Newtownards. We specialise in Trials and Hard Enduro and offer 1 to 1 and small group training packages. For further details please get in touch. Our ethos is Technique over Speed, we believe that before you can ride fast you must first master how to ride slowly. Our training track is a technical turn track designed to keep the riders thinking and help to develop there confidence and technique. We also run events specifically aimed at the novice riders to introduce them to the world of Enduro, we achieve this by ensuring everything is relaxed and we encourage a competitive spirit amonsgt the riders. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on upcoming events. All riders are welcome and please ensure you are in possession of the correct riding PPE and your machinery is fit for purpose. All under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The mental well being and mental health is vital within our communities and off road motorcycling is a proven release for many, we are also helping to keep our communities safer by providing a controlled environment for off-road motorcycling.

My name is Eva. I am a qualified and experienced counsellor based in Castlewellan, Co. Down. I have been a practising counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist since 2004. I studied in Coventry University from 1993 to 1996 and have a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Sciences. I have a post graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (2002- 2004) and I am a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity (National Centre for Eating Disorders 2007-2008). I am BACP Accredited so abide to their professional standards and ethical framework of good practice. Counselling is an excellent tool for discovering yourself. At Empower, it’s so important that clients see themselves as the people with the power and the ability to improve their quality of life as they grow. Testimony I struggled for years with anxiety and depression without really knowing why and always searching for the ‘fix’. When I started with Eva I wanted her to fix me. It was only with her support and guidance that I came to realise where my pain was coming from and how to learn from it and how to understand my feelings. It was a real journey of self discovery for me. Now I understand there is no magic cure, but there doesn’t need to be. Ive learned to accept myself and to allow the feelings to come and go without taking over my life. This really has been life changing for me. I feel strong for the first time and am ready to live the life I choose to live.

Mindfulness is not a difficult and complicated concept. It is an accessible life-long personal skill. If you master it - it stays with you for your whole life. And is completely free to practise it - you do not require any equipment or special settings. Hi, my name is Theya and I prefer to present myself as a mindfulness guide. I prefer to say that I am not teaching you mindfulness, but I am guiding you, as mindfulness is as unique as everybody is. My own journey to become a mindfulness guide My own journey as a mindfulness guide started two years ago when a friend sent me a small picture with colourful circles and the unknown word “IKIGAI” in the middle. It made me think and for the first time fully understand how I would like my professional career to look like and to fit in my whole life. Then a question came: What should I do exactly to fulfil those ideal pictures? At this time I was part time Forest School practitioner in a London primary school, casual outdoor educator at WWT London Wetland centre, volunteer urban gardener and full time mum… My clear inner vision is that being a mindfulness guide is my IKIGAI – the combination of something I love, something the world needs, something that resonates well with my values, skills and personality and possibly something that I can be good in. Mindfulness has changed my own life for good and that is where my inspirations came to share it with others.

At Little Willows we’re passionate about creating beautiful hand painted ceramics, wooden keepsake boxes and baby hand & foot prints (paw prints too!) that you can treasure forever. ABOUT US Wuntanara – meaning ‘we are together’ in the Soussou language from Guinea Conakry – is a collective of outstanding artists from West Africa and dedicated African drumming and dance students from across Europe. Master Drummer Souleymane Compo is the Founder and Artistic Director Wuntanara, and CEO of Wuntanara Ltd. Souleymane was born into the proud musical tradition in Guinea. As a young man he travelled to The Gambia, where he continued his training in the traditional arts with Guinean masters, in the famous Fatala Drum and Dance School. He soon began teaching African drumming and dance to students from all over the world. An accomplished dancer, he also became choreographer and lead dancer for the Fatala Ballet troupe. Souleymane moved from Africa to London in 2004. Since then he has been teaching and performing in schools, weekly classes, festivals and private events across the UK. He combines warmth and patience with great musical knowledge and skill. He is an inspiring teacher, as well as an accomplished performer. Wuntanara's lead dancer is Salif Camara Salif belongs to a family of Guinean artists, and began dancing at a young age. An exhilarating dancer, Salif has performed in some of the most acclaimed Guinean ballet troupes and teaches Guinean dance to student across Europe as well as in Guinea.
