HSTS Taekwon-Do is a member of the UTA and also UK ITF, which is the
international national organisation (INO) for ITF Taekwon-Do in the UK. The UK
ITF is recognised as a full member of the British Taekwon-Do Council, which is
in turn recognised by the sports council.
At HSTS Taekwon-Do, we are dedicated to teaching the authentic martial art of
ITF Taekwon-Do to anyone who wishes to learn. We firmly believe in the words of
the founder that “Taekwon-Do is a martial art for anyone and everyone,” and we
welcome students of all fitness levels and ages to discover the excitement and
self-defence benefits of this martial art practice.
Our passion for teaching ITF Taekwon-Do stems from our own experiences as
practitioners. Our head instructor Master G.Horan 8th degree, who started
training with Grandmaster Sahota in 1985, has never looked back since his first
lesson. He remains as passionate about martial arts today now training under
Grandmaster Nicholls as he was back then, and is committed to sharing his
