My name is Christopher Charalambous. I am the head instructor here at Sheffield Jiu jitsu & self defence. I first started training Jiu Jitsu in Derbyshire, England at the age of 29. Upon completing my first year of training, I felt what I learned was incomplete and that something was missing. After doing some soul searching and a lot of research, I decided to travel to Miami. There I learned Jiu-Jitsu from the world-famous Valente Brothers. Training with the Valente’s has changed my life and opened my mind to the world of Jiu Jitsu and martial arts.
