The Merseyside Boxer Club
The practice of Tai Chi and Qigong give us an opportunity to slow down and relax. Tai chi originally developed in China and has been passed down through generations of Master Teachers. The movements are not random but designed to affect the energy system and bring us back into a state of balance, inner stillness and peace.
CHI KUNG OR ‘BREATH WORK’ is a relaxing form of gentle exercise combining breathing and movement to promote a harmonious flow of energy through the body. TAI CHI FORM is composed of a series of slow, graceful movements linked together in a continuous, smooth flowing sequence. This traditional Chinese form of exercise is suitable for all age groups and is particularly beneficial to the mature student.
