I hold qualifications in both City & Guilds and OCN Dog Grooming Level 2 and 3. I have 9 years experience working with animals and grooming to a high industry standard. My precious dog Maggie is my world and has been the Rascals mascot for the past 9 years. I truly love everything about Rascals, from the furry friends I've made along the way, to the humans too. Our team really makes Rascals a happy and wonderful place for customers and their dogs to come to. My passion for travel and for discovering my trueSELF has led me onto this beautiful journey, which is the practice of YOGA.  I have completed over 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training with Kashish Yoga School. Their traditional Indian teaching methodology is a gold standard, covering Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy, Pranayama and Meditation Techniques as well as different styles of Yoga Asana practices. I have also completed additional 235 hours of Tantra Yoga, Ayurveda and Prenatal Yoga. I love designing yoga sessions that allow participants to experience the fullness of being in the presence with the mind, body and spirit.  Yoga is such an amazing journey and the further I experience the science of yoga, the more I realise that this knowledge is not for me to keep but it is for me to share. So, here I am ready to learn more and share what I already know. Through my whispering voice and calmness I aim to radiate and reflect truly peaceful energy. The classes that I create are always full of joy and peace where we invite light and healing energy. Each session is your time to shine and be in the present moment. Both of us are passionate about Australian quilting, sewing patterns and Cottage Garden hand dyed embroidery threads. We have over 1000 patchwork, quilting and sewing patterns in stock and our range is still growing! We love that some of the Australian quilt and sewing pattern designers also design fabric too. Hi there - I'm Paul Green, the founder of The Business Community. I've been an independent business owner since 2003 and love working with small businesses; in particular family-run businesses. I'd like to share a little story about the reason for this and what my "why" is. What drives me My father ran his own small business designing, manufacturing and supplying electrical control panels to various companies within the UK and overseas. At the age of 11, unfortunately, the business went bust - as happens to quite a few businesses. This meant having to move house, move schools - money was tight and the atmosphere was not that great in the household. Having gone through this experience, it obviously left an impression. A few years ago, I attended a workshop (run by Jacky Sherman) looking at why a person is in business and exploring the type of businesses that I enjoyed working with. In this session, the seed that was subconsciously planted many years before emerged. It became apparent that what was driving me in my endeavours to support small, family-run businesses, is that I didn't want any children associated with the business owners to go through the trauma of a failed business! This is why I strive to impact the performance of the businesses I work with; having them be better at what they do - focusing on profitability and cashflow within the business. My journey My experience and knowledge of 20 years being employed by someone else and to date, working with 100s of business owners, gives me the confidence and ability to offer business advice, coaching and training when given the opportunity to do so. Having experienced the trials and tribulations that face a small business on that entrepreneurial journey, I am passionate about making sure businesses don't make the same mistakes that I made en route! I am a big believer in collaboration and encourage businesses to work together to grow their businesses; as well as offering help and support to each other for mutual gain. In 2020, my story culminated in the creation of The Business Community. This brings together my principles of businesses working together. As a family, we have over 15 years experience of hosting international students, so we know what they need ... and there is very little that we haven’t seen or done in that period. We have two children in private education in the UK, so we understand the pressures and pleasures that this brings. Our children love having students to stay and enjoy interacting with them and they often become firm friends. Many students stay in touch, maintaining contact even when they have gone onto university or have found employment. Wherever possible, we arrange for students to be hosted by families close to where they are studying. This means that they know the local area well and can tailor any activities to meet your child’s needs. It also cuts down on travelling time and expense, and enhances the hosting experience. We ensure that all out guardianship families are fully vetted and comply with UK legislation. We carry out regular personal visits and we are always contactable should an issue arise with the child or the family.
