Arting Celfio

arting celfio

Baneswell

My name’s Marion Webber and I’ve been working in the field of Arts in Health and more general participatory arts for over a decade. Studies* have proven the benefits of taking part in creative activities that support our daily lives. I founded Arting Celfio during 2020, to enable Healthcare professionals and artists specialising within Arts and Health to collaborate and provide high-quality, tailor-made, person-centered arts projects. I am a practicing artist based in South Wales, with extensive experience in Participatory Arts Practice. This has given me the privilege to work with diverse participants on many commissions resulting in the installation of artworks in both temporary and permanent exhibitions. My art practice and knowledge inform how I collaborate and co-curate projects with Healthcare professionals and fellow artists within the field of Arts in Health. I have an MA (with Distinction - Arts Practice Arts, Health and Wellbeing) and gained a PGCE PcET Teaching Qualification (Post-16 and Adult Education sectors). I deliver creative workshops, informed by reflective practice and a commitment to continued professional development that connects, and provides meaningful activities that value people’s input and stories. I’d love the chance to discuss your ideas for projects, so please drop me an email. The artwork below are examples from my own practice. If you‘d like to see more, I’m on Instagram: @artings_and_inklingsMy personal art website is: www.marioncheung-artist.com

London

where the assumption that human culture is primarily visual is challenged until it dissolves, along with the entwined racism, patriarchy, misogyny, homophobic bullshit, other limiting beliefs and destructive economic systems …where the assumption that VR is a predominantly visual medium, not “for” or “by” visually impaired participants, is kicked to the kerb. Help us course correct the development of this critical mode in which our future selves will live, work, love, play. …where accessibility techniques such as audio description extend deep into the richer reaches of art forms and cultural identities …. where audio describers are not afraid to describe the weird and the wonderful, and who have the cultural insight to respectfully describe any human being …where creation tools, arts education and access are provided to ensure equal access for all those who are otherwise excluded or disadvantaged by a disability …where Burning Man art, culture, and event information is accessible to visually impaired participants. … where visually impaired participants can navigate physical and digital Burning Man experiences independently or with easy, on-demand assistance. … where visually impaired participants and other excluded Burners are able to make the same independent choices as sighted participants. …where those who are blind and deaf are not forgotten, and are embraced as creators too … where all this is considered foundational to Burning Man culture. In short, a world built for all of us. It is something we see, and with your help will make real.

Watford

I’m Sharon Gaffney and Verde Business Solutions is my company. I’m an experienced company director, business advisor and trainer. I ran my own businesses from the age of 22 and I’ve dedicated most of my working life to helping entrepreneurs like you become successful in their businesses and in their lives. I’ve been supporting business owners for over 20 years and it’s been my privilege to help thousands of business owners start up, grow and thrive through my Business Advice and Training programmes. Being a business advisor is all about helping you find the right strategy to build a successful company and supporting you to put that strategy into action. It’s also about delivering the lifestyle you’re looking for and defining success in your own terms. It helps that I’ve been there before and experienced the highs and lows of running several fast-growing small businesses myself, so I can really empathise with what you’re going through. I specialise in small business start-ups and companies with less than 50 employees – sometimes with just one or two people. I love working with companies where I honestly believe that the business has the potential to grow and develop. Whether that’s a part-time business that brings in a small additional income but that you really believe in, or you have dreams of being a corporate mogul, I’m interested! It’s not the size of your business that matters to me, only the extent of your vision.

Alexandrabaer

alexandrabaer

Alexandra was born in the USA and spent her formative years in London and Glasgow. Her musical abilities were recognised from a very young age and she began having regular piano and vocal lessons at the age of four. Alexandra had the honour of being the youngest singing student to be accepted at the prestigious Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. Whilst studying there, she benefited from singing lessons, vocal workshops and master-classes with both formidable voice teachers and visiting leading professionals. This early exposure to such a high standard of coaching was a great source of inspiration for an aspiring young soprano. Alexandra was invited to attend the Association Of Teachers Of Singing training course for four consecutive years, which provided her with a solid foundation for developing her own teaching technique which she loves to share in her own teaching lessons. Having always had a special love of Scotland, it seemed to be a natural progression for her to complete her studies at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow (now known as The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) where Alexandra was awarded her Bachelor of Music with Honours Degree. Now based in Central Scotland and accessible from Falkirk, Stirling, Glasgow amd Edinburgh, Alexandra enjoys working as a freelance singer (soprano) and singing teacher. She is currently delighted to be working with Music in Hospitals and Care (MiHC) with whom she has regular concert engagements and tours.
