When Joey was born I had such a brilliant time taking him to all sorts of different classes and watching him flourish, that when I found out about Tots Play I knew it would be perfect for our area, and since Thea has come along we've had lots of fun using all the ideas I share in class at home to keep us busy during lockdown. I love the fact that the programme offers so much variety in every session - where else can you do yoga, massage, sensory play and sign language all in one? As a busy mum I know how important taking your babies to a class in a friendly and relaxed environment is, and Tots Play offers just that. All while helping them learn valuable skills and making memories and friends that last a lifetime. I can't wait to meet you and your little ones at a class soon. Jenni's work incorporating a bigger sense of the abstract, self expression and a little bit of the landscape. The abstract comes from love of the outdoors, the sea, her Cornish upbringing and Jenni’s dyslexic tendencies. With being so visual I carry this with me and find a need to put it somewhere which is down in a creative way.Jenni often finishes her work with thicker heavier lines and this is a nod towards the line and text she finds so difficult to make sense of when reading. Jenni sees in pictures and finds that gathering information from her surrounding is easy to implement into her painting. The narrative here explains that colours are the confusion, often when its overwhelmingly busy and ‘noisy’. Jenni declares ‘it is often misunderstood, the amount of brain power needed to stay focused, it is exhausting, art is natural to me and defuses that struggle and expectation of something that comes easy to others, reading. At other times Jenni likes to take her work right back to her routes and her childhood experiences. Her memories in colour, source materials from trips out, family time and conversation. Often starting two or three pieces are a time, mainly works in acrylics applying oil bar drawings on top of space and colour.

It’s great fun! Both physically and mentally challenging and a great adrenaline rush. It’s social. Climbers usually work in pairs – one person belaying (holding the rope) which means you are never alone. Climbers love to offer beta (advice) or encouragement. You can rock climb all year. With indoor climbing, it doesn’t matter what the weather’s doing. It is inexpensive. You can hire equipment very cheaply until you know you are hooked and with pay monthly, climbing is great value. There is a brilliant sense of accomplishment every time you climb. There is something incredibly satisfying about physically making your way to the top. Climbing is great exercise, you can burn up to 900 calories per hour! It teaches life skills – teamwork, problem-solving, exercise, courage and conviction. Climbing is never boring. There are so many routes on the walls, with a variety of challenges and these routes are changed regularly. It will make you a better version of yourself, challenge yourself every time you climb and learn important skills. It opens your life to awesome experiences. As you progress you may find the urge to climb outdoors where you can encounter breathtaking scenery and a wilderness adventure most people will never know.

My name’s Marion Webber and I’ve been working in the field of Arts in Health and more general participatory arts for over a decade. Studies* have proven the benefits of taking part in creative activities that support our daily lives. I founded Arting Celfio during 2020, to enable Healthcare professionals and artists specialising within Arts and Health to collaborate and provide high-quality, tailor-made, person-centered arts projects. I am a practicing artist based in South Wales, with extensive experience in Participatory Arts Practice. This has given me the privilege to work with diverse participants on many commissions resulting in the installation of artworks in both temporary and permanent exhibitions. My art practice and knowledge inform how I collaborate and co-curate projects with Healthcare professionals and fellow artists within the field of Arts in Health. I have an MA (with Distinction - Arts Practice Arts, Health and Wellbeing) and gained a PGCE PcET Teaching Qualification (Post-16 and Adult Education sectors). I deliver creative workshops, informed by reflective practice and a commitment to continued professional development that connects, and provides meaningful activities that value people’s input and stories. Many cadets go on to great success in the RAF. Around 40% of officers and 50% of all aircrew in the RAF now are ex-cadets. Research shows that they do better in basic training and stay in the Service longer than their colleagues. Likewise, if you chose a civilian career research proves you can go on the great things...employers just love the skills and experience that air cadets offer. The cadet structure is based on the rank structure used within the RAF, being promoted shows your leadership abilities and gives you more responsibilities. We also have a full training scheme that can lead to real qualifications, this is mainly geared towards aviation studies, but a full range of qualifications is available.
