Applied Behaviour Analysis is the science of behaviour and learning of socially significant behaviours. They need to be meaningful to the people we serve and support them in achieving a better quality of life. Examples of socially significant behaviours are as below: Requesting for wants and needs Learning to use the toilet Learning play, social and leisure skills Being able to perform independent living skills and self-help tasks Learning academic skills Increasing the variety of foods Improving levels of tolerance to medical procedures and routine appointment such as the dentist and the hairdresser We can also use the science of ABA to teach individuals readiness for learning skills and decrease behaviours of concern which include skills such as: Cooperation Expanding preference for items and activities Flexibility Reducing excessive and inappropriate behaviours Attending skills Reducing behavioural supports in line with learner readiness and the acquisition of independence Behaviours of concern include: Feeding, Sleep and inappropriate and excessive behaviours such as teaching a child to stop when out and about and reducing throwing behaviour. Other examples are challenging behaviours which include self-injury and aggression towards others. Applied Behaviour Analysis has been used with a variety of populations including those with autism and developmental disabilities (Van Houten et al, 1988; Roane et al, 2016). Studies show the effectiveness of ABA in the teaching of children with developmental disabilities when compared with eclectic approaches (Howard et. al, 2005). However, ABA is not just used with autism and developmental disabilities. ABA can also also be used: In organisations as part of staff training (Parsons, Hollinson & Reid, 2010) With individuals that require self-management strategies to deal with areas they are struggling with such as addiction (Petry, N. M. et al, 2000) To help with anxiety and depression (Hayes, S & Smith, S., 2005). ABA is also used successfully in animal training (Pryor, K., 1999). Peter Reznikov has dedicated his entire professional life to excellence in education. After graduating from Moscow State Linguistic University in 1991, he was invited to work in the UK as a teacher of Russian and in the same year he opened his educational consultancy PRINCE (Peter Reznikov International Centre for Education) which, for more than 25 years, has been helping children from all over the world gain access to the UK’s leading private schools, colleges and universities. Throughout his 25 year career in British education, Peter has taught in various private and state schools teaching both boys and girls. In 1998 he became the Head of the Russian Department at Eton College, the first Russian national to do so in the prestigious school’s 575 year history. In his 17 years at the helm of the Russian department at Eton (1998-2015) the number of students studying Russian rose from just 13 to 130. More than 50 of them successfully gained a place at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, as well as other leading Universities in the UK, USA, France, Holland and Germany. Peter also worked for the London Examination Board (currently EDEXCEL) for over 10 years, starting as a script-marker and becoming a Principal Examiner setting papers and overseeing the marking teams, as well as monitoring the overall quality and comparability of the GCSE and A-level Russian examinations which are widely used in the UK and in British schools abroad. Peter is the author of a number of Russian teaching materials and articles on Russian language, literature and cinema. He has co-authored several Russian text-books which are widely used by teachers and students in the UK and abroad. He has made appearances on Russian and British television, Internet, radio and other mainstream media sources on a variety of educational issues. He actively follows the rapidly-changing world of educational thinking and policy, regularly visits different schools, colleges and Universities in the United Kingdom and other countries and his PRINCE continues to provide educational services to people from over 20 countries.

I have always been interested in communication and languages, so I gained my initial degree in teaching Hungarian language and literature both to native speakers and as a foreign language. I have taught in different countries – in Hungary, Serbia and Switzerland – committed to continuous learning and development. However besides language acquisition I am also interested in brain and personality development so I have specialized in UK in Early Years Development. I grew up with my mums much younger sister who was diagnosed with autism, so I always had a loving heart for children and people living with special needs… Whilst studying neuro diversity I discovered that I was a child with all symptoms of ADHD… and at some point I had to realise that it never went away… I still do have it… I have started reading and taking notes about it, and now i can claim with confidence that I know this type of condition inside out… I have worked in nurseries as an Early Years Teacher and later as a nursery Manager. After studying at the Metropolitan University and gaining the Diploma in Teaching Adult Learners I have taught Early Years Childcare to Practitioners as a Tutor/Assessor in wide variety of settings in London. Apart from creating a relaxed and joyful environment where active learning can take place, I am passionate to help and motivate people in every possible way, so I have also studied a variety of Holistic Coaching and Healing methods as well as Event Management. I have participated in the organization of international festivals, several exhibitions, artisan fares, fashion shows and holistic healing days. During the lock down I was approached by many parents who asked me for help with variety of issues. I have decided to organise the Happy Parent = Happy Child Online Conference and have gathered over 30 professionals to support families, children and parents.
