DAN follows in the footsteps on Master Andre Nocquet, one of the first non
Japanese live in students of O'Sensei. That direct lineage gives us a very
strong pedigree and solid link back to the founder of Aikido, O'Sensei DAN is
also a member group of the Joint Aikikai Council (JAC) who represent Aikikai
Aikido in the UK. The JAC report directly to the World Aikikai Headquarters, the
Hombu dojo in Tokyo, Japan. This is under the guidance and leadership of the
grandson of the founder, the current Doshu, Moriteru Ueshiba
