It’s great fun! Both physically and mentally challenging and a great adrenaline rush. It’s social. Climbers usually work in pairs – one person belaying (holding the rope) which means you are never alone. Climbers love to offer beta (advice) or encouragement. You can rock climb all year. With indoor climbing, it doesn’t matter what the weather’s doing. It is inexpensive. You can hire equipment very cheaply until you know you are hooked and with pay monthly, climbing is great value. There is a brilliant sense of accomplishment every time you climb. There is something incredibly satisfying about physically making your way to the top. Climbing is great exercise, you can burn up to 900 calories per hour! It teaches life skills – teamwork, problem-solving, exercise, courage and conviction. Climbing is never boring. There are so many routes on the walls, with a variety of challenges and these routes are changed regularly. It will make you a better version of yourself, challenge yourself every time you climb and learn important skills. It opens your life to awesome experiences. As you progress you may find the urge to climb outdoors where you can encounter breathtaking scenery and a wilderness adventure most people will never know.

Our Cook Stars team is passionate about cooking and we simply LOVE good food! We share our love of cooking through teaching children and teenagers how to create their very own dishes from scratch. We offer classes for pre-school children, primary school age children, tweens and teens delivered through our team of franchisees. We also host special event workshops, birthday parties and classes within schools and the community. At Cook Stars we take care of all the preparation to make it easy for our Cook Stars to simply come along and enjoy our sessions. All ingredients, cooking equipment, an apron, packaging and cooking know-how is provided! Everyone takes home their lovely dish along with a recipe card to cook again at home. John Chilton School is a mixed Community Special School funded by Ealing Local Authority for pupils aged 4-19 years who may have moderate to severe learning difficulties as a primary need or as a dual diagnosis to their medical or physical needs. John Chilton School is unique in that the main part of the school is located within the all age Alec Reed Academy (ARA). This enables pupils form both schools to integrate and be included as needed. The Phase 2 department is temporarily placed at Wood End Academy in Greenford. John Chilton School has a bespoke building for three classes with additional facilities of a hall, therapy room, sensory room, cookery room and medical support. Specialist staff and therapists working across both sites linking them and ensuring the excellence of the whole school provision. The school building is fully accessible for pupils with disabilities. Facilities include a hydrotherapy pool, therapy suite, food technology rooms, sensory room and a medical room. There are dedicated playgrounds for pupils with a variety of outdoor toys and zones; a large part of these playgrounds has a safety surface. Who We Are & Where We Are High Peak School is part of the Kedleston Group and opened in 2014.Our specialist multi-disciplinary team of leaders, carers, therapists and educationalists work seamlessly together. We are a cookery school for disabled adults 18 plus. At StedyChefs we teach all about the joy and fun to be had whilst cooking ,not only helping improve life skills but building self confidence and making friends along the way. Our whole building is covered in fun graffiti, our chefs wear a full uniform and different coloured bandanas making their time here as fun as possible. We also teach other activities such as art and music, the Beatles actually played in our building in 1961. Our chefs cook everything from scratch and not only this, they grow their own vegetables in our outside space as well as doing outside cooking in warmer months. Our chefs do food related trips also once every six weeks. Some of our chefs volunteer and in the past have worked in local cafes and football stadiums. Our youngest student is 18 and our eldest is 63 years old. The food our chefs create on a daily basis can only be described as phenomenal. We are also part of the International Cookery School Association (School Of Excellence) We also teach our students health and safety in the kitchen. We recently had Merseyside Fire Brigade in our centre to deliver a lesson on hazards that may occur in a kitchen and how to handle them safely. Merseyside Police have also attended our centre to deliver on a lesson on how to stay safe when using the internet. In January of this year, seven of our students gained their Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene In The Kitchen qualification. It took us over a year of visually and verbally training our students in preparation for their test. As they passed, they are now able to legally work in a professional kitchen environment. One of the students is now actively looking for paid work in the catering sector using his newly acquired qualification. We have also partnered with The Trussell Trust and are now running a food bank from or building with the help of our wonderful students.

Our specialist school and children's home in Oxford is for children and young people aged between 8 and 19 with autism and severe learning difficulties who benefit from an autism specific environment. Developed in a partnership between MacIntyre Academies Trust and Oxfordshire County Council Endeavour was set up to meet the needs of students and their families locally. Our Academy tailors the national curriculum to students’ individual needs with a strong focus on gaining life skills that help independence.
