The British Kempo Ju-Jitsu Federation is a non political multi style organisation, it is founded on groups who share a common goal in martial arts, we use the internet to communicate regularly with each other and dispense with the age old 'lets meet up and have a meeting' environment. We do not hold annual meetings and information regarding finances are down to the individual member groups. Becoming a member of the BKJJF is very easy and for the Associate level membership this is completely free and allows new members to post their details on our website, get help building their own site and allows them to attend our courses. We have a wealth of experience that members can plug into from Chinese styles to Japanese, Korean and other European and Global styles, access to this is competely free of charge at Associate Level membership, so if this is a good thing, why is it so many clubs and instructors still follow lesser qualified and poor quality instructors who frequently over charge and under deliver? Ju-Jitsu as a way of Life!! It is encouraging to see so many clubs advertised on the internet, where do they all come from and what are their origins ? Does it really matter that much, providing the Instructors run the clubs in a professional manner and do not use the club to satisfy their own ego's? Why is it that Martial Artists are so suspicious of each other, I find it incredible that clubs and associations are not willing to work together more, sharing their ideas and good practice to the overal development of Martial Arts as a whole. To combat this the British Kempo Ju-Jitsu Federation has developed a three tier membership level, so there is a membership level to suit everyone at all stages of their Martial Arts career, indeed the Associate Member Level is free of charge to all comers with no hidden agenda,

More and more businesses realise the importance of that sentence and encourage their employees to learn a foreign language. Lingua Diversa Group (LDG) was formed in 2002 by Esther Sahagun and Lucio Daniele, two language teachers who until then had enjoyed an extensive and fulfilling time in teaching Spanish and Italian to both adults and children. Lingua Diversa Group provide Language Training in Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, English, Polish, Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese at all levels. Other languages available on request. Lessons can take place either at your offices or at our premises anytime Monday to Saturday. We have been running language courses in many companies in the London area (e.g. management consulting firms, financial companies, marketing agencies, sports companies, oil companies). We pride ourselves in providing our clients with not only a professional and friendly service but also with affordable language lessons. All our tutors are qualified native teachers with extensive experience. The method we use is known as “the communicative approach” where the emphasis is always on the speaking and understanding of the language. Our aim is to provide the students with the language tools needed for real life interaction. Our Spanish director Esther Sahagun and some of her students participated in the BBC online Spanish course for beginners, winner of the BAFTA AWARDS 2009 for the Interactive Innovation Category. To see Esther and her students in action and to start learning Spanish visit Mi Vida Loca For a full list of our Spanish, Italian, German, French, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian courses in Holborn please visit our Evening Courses page. My work invites meditation upon nature and its relationship with colour, light and movement. As I draw or paint, I gradually unravel the underlying qualities of balance and harmony within my subject matter. What interests me most is observing the formation of line and pattern: from the blades of grasses to a bird’s feather; from the shifting of clouds to the beat of my heart; from the maps of stars in heaven to the trunk of an old oak tree. I continuously strive to reveal beauty and elegance within the natural rhythm of life and look to my art as a place of well-being, empowerment and inner peace. The materials I love to use are water-based pigments, powders, and Japanese black ink. These are natural and organic and are deeply connected to earth and nature. They afford a rich palette of hues and allow for both extreme precision and flow of movement. I am captivated by the way they blend together and create a whole that is more than its' individual parts. Occasionally, I also add hints of gold and silver, as these reflect light differently at each hour of the day, changing the glow of the work from within. Japanese Ink Painting Instructor & Artist, Talia Lehavi - Standing with a brush in front of Notes on Pine collection in Mallorca Studio My work is an attempt to find and enjoy a moment in time. The materials I use embrace that moment, echoing their mark on the paper or canvas, and becoming eternal for a short while. I am keen to explore images that can stand the test of time, that would still be of fascination in years to come, and yet are potent in the here in now. I hope that others understand my work with their hearts and emotions; that they are touched and moved by it, and that it evokes a sense of balance, hope, and joy.
