giulia drummond

Giulia Drummond is a singer-songwriter, percussionist, poet and actress creating mystical atmospheres with her hauntingly beautiful voice and musical talent.    Her musical background is filled with charmed sonorities from all over the world, from Afro-Brazilian chants to celtic music, visiting buddhist and hindu mantras, hebrew, sephardic, gypsy music. By exploring different music traditions, she also explores the languages, singing in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Italian (different Italian dialects), Gaelic, Latin, Hebrew, Haitian Criollo, Yoruba, Ladino, Romani, Swedish…   In constant research for as many influences she can find, Giulia refers to her practice as Magical Music. Her gigs are more like musical rituals, in which her deep voice, accompanied by a shruti box and different kinds of drums are the magical instruments, and songs take the audience to many enchanted landscapes.  Giulia’s first album balão de poemagia (meaning something like poemagic balloon) was released in 2018.   Celebrated as a musician in Brazil through her teaching, monthly concerts of new music and theatre performances, Giulia moved to Scotland in 2019 where she quickly became known on the Scottish music scene in Edinburgh.  She regularly performs, collaborates and curates music sessions at the infamous Captains Bar in Edinburgh and Leith Folk Club, collaborates with Flamenco Nova and is a company musician of dance theatre company Slanjayvah Danza - performing traditional Scottish, Gaelic and Spanish music and song in their award winning show, 6 Feet, 3 Shoes.   In 2020 Giulia released her second album, vôo dos balões entre as brumas (balloons flying in the mists).     Prior to Giulia’s artistic career she worked as a psychologist in the Museum of Images of the Unconscious, an artistic sector within a big psychiatric complex called Instituto Municipal Nise da Silveira. The museum is dedicated specifically to the use of artistic expression as treatment in mental health.

SPANISH Spanish is one of the easiest languages to pick up - there is no better experience for learning than actually talking with someone who is fluent! What will I learn? On this introductory course, you will have fun learning the basics of how to communicate with others in a completely different language. You will learn how to be polite in Spanish, how to greet people and make conversations about yourself, how to correctly pronounce words, numbers and colours and how to ask questions (such as asking for directions and ordering specific food and drinks). Spanish is a beautiful, melodic language that makes it wonderful to learn! Best of all, because it is Latin-based, it will help you understand other languages such as French and Italian too.

Wolfram Lohr, has been working with leather for over 20 years after initially learning shoe making with various shoe makers in Brighton. He branched out to create an accessories range of luxury handmade leather goods soon after seeing a need for good quality, long lasting and stylish products for his customers. The brand has grown from a one man band to a partnership between Wolfram and Sarah Gardner, together with their team, they run their successful business and leather making courses from their eclectic studio in Hove. Wolfram has also grown in the UK craft scene and has been exhibiting at fairs and trade shows for several years, travelling to the USA, Paris, Frankfurt and London. Wolfram draws creativity from bringing old and new together. He has a passion for traditional leather crafts and his own personal collection of vintage objects, from leather bags to hats and clothing, is a constant source of inspiration. He takes shapes from vintage products and adapts them into modern accessories, creating a balance between functionality and contemporary design. His current product range consists of strong belts, wallets, stylish handbags, beautiful rucksacks, messenger bags and desk items. We are passing through interesting times. This is a dimension (one of countless many) where personal and spiritual growth happens through an interplay of dark and light forces. ‘Light’ is an evolutionary force that reconnects us to our divinity, higher frequencies of light and our true multidimensional nature. ‘Dark’ is an anti-evolutionary force that seeks to keep us in separation and locked within a lower density. The challenge for lightworkers is one of spiritual hygiene and clearing out karmic patterns that can be released to the light. Now is a time of ascension, both for the planet itself and many millions of souls on the planet. Not everyone has chosen this path and many will continue their spiritual growth elsewhere. There are many starseeds on the planet who are waking up to their mission here. In this dense dimension it has been very difficult to maintain a high consciousness. This is because the underlying energetic structures of the earth have not supported it. This has been changing over the past decades as a new high frequency grid has been established on the earth.
