We are one of the most established First Aid Instructor Training organisations in the UK and we have had the pleasure of teaching thousands of people to teach first aid, for businesses who want to train employees to teach first aid in their workplace and for individuals who want a career in teaching first aid or want to start their own successful first aid business. ITG have been helping people like you, to deliver training in their chosen subject or to take on an assessor role for many years. All of the teaching awards and assessing qualifications are regulated qualifications delivered through Training Qualifications UK, which is an Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation. This means that you can be confident that you will receive a fully recognised and accepted qualification upon successful completion of your course. Whichever qualification you need, when you train with us, you can be confident that you will gain the knowledge and qualifications you need to become a professional and confident trainer or assessor. Our classroom courses are held at our spacious training centre in Colchester. If you have a group of employees we can send one of our professional trainers to deliver the training on-site at your premises. We also offer a range of Health and Safety qualifications including IOSH Managing Safely and a range of more advanced CPR and First Responder qualifications. Flexible Training Where it is possible we offer virtual, online and distance courses. Policies and Procedures are scrutinised by our auditors Jelf Risk Management, and provide our Health & Safety Management services. Our Youth Staff on an evening carry current DBS checks, safe guarding training, first aid and fire marshal competence. All staff receive personal health and safety booklets annually for which they sign for as read, and risk assessments as well as operational standard procedures are undertaken for activities and basic duties reviewed by the internal IOSH trained Managing Safely Officer and externally by Jelf Risk Management. Accident forms and incident forms are completed for all those reported on site and held accordingly. Health & Safety and Environmental statements are reviewed annually and are on display to the centre’s users. Club polices including; safe guarding and child protection, harassment, grievance, bullying, drugs and alcohol are held on site and reviewed/managed by our Welfare Officer. Club rules and procedures, including GDPR privacy notices are written on membership forms and displayed in all prominent areas of the centre.CCTV surveillance on site supports the security of the building, its staff, volunteers and users/members. Any concerns in relation to the use of Richmond Park, including anti-social behaviour, drugs and alcohol use (adjacent to our Club) should be reported to the local authorities (Police and Council). Hinckley Club For Young People have no authority or responsibility in events that take place outside of its perimeter.
