Beckinridge was established in 1993 in response to a growing need for high
quality training in Ireland, primally focusing on a then emerging IT industry.
Over time the company has extended its coverage and now provides training to SME
and Corporate clients in a broad range of sectors. Eddie McDonald (a co-founder
and current Managing Director) can recall the early days in a one room office in
their accountant’s building, travelling with a car full of computers (heavy
machines then!) to various venues around Ireland. Then setting up permanent
training centres in Dublin and Belfast (with a satellite in Cork) and getting
through various ups and downs in the economy to maintain its presence as a
leading provider of training in Ireland. From Cork to Galway, Letterkenny to
Dublin, Waterford to Tullamore, Belfast to Derry, Cookstown to Newry and just
about everywhen in between – Beckinridge has trained. Not to mention Parma, Hong
Kong, Vancouver, Edinburgh, Manchester, Boston and a few other not so close to
home locations.
