My name is Cameron and I am a 27 year old keys player specialising in Rock, Blues, R&B, Funk and Soul music. I started playing the piano aged 8 and have been passionate about music ever since. I have many years’ experience providing piano lessons to people of all ages and abilities, in person, in schools and online. Companies I've previously worked for include Open2Music and Private Music Lessons UK. I can also teach students Classical and advanced music theory to a high standard. I produce many of my own documents to aid students’ learning and use methodical but fun teaching methods. With a diverse knowledge of subjects such as music culture/history and technology, I aim to give students a broad overview of all things music related. Education: After working through the ABRSM Classical and Jazz grades, I began studying Music and Music Tech A levels at college. From 2014 to 2016, I was tutored by highly regarded industry professionals such as Brian Henry (Soul II Soul, Mica Paris) and Frank Tontoh (Amy Winehouse, George Michael) at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where I achieved a 2:1 in Professional Music Performance. Experience: I have a wealth of experience teaching the piano (and music in general) to children and adults of all ages and abilities, either at home, in a school environment, or online. Resources: I have created many useful documents over the years, catering to people of all ages and abilities. I also produced a single document called 'Essential Music Theory' featuring lots of information about scales, chords, progressions, melodic features, improvisation and ear training. Teaching online: Online tuition is useful as it is convenient for both the student and the teacher, especially when they are many miles away from each other. I have taught many students via Zoom and find it to be a useful and enjoyable experience. I have access to a reliable, fast internet connection and know how to deal with any issues that may arise. I can play the piano in software like Logic Pro X and this can be heard very clearly by the student on the other end (any audio I play my end can be heard). Students can also see what notes/chords I'm playing via screen-sharing and an app called 'ChordieApp'.

Weston Super Mare

Welcome to the Elite Beauty Academy, my name is Wendy Jessop and I have provided training in Weston Super Mare since October 2007.  Students often tell me how they find it difficult to choose a training provider that will offer them the best options for their individual needs. Here at Elite, we pride ourselves on taking the time to prepare an individual programme ensuring students are on the correct course.  This will provide them with the maximum potential for achieving their goals. Along with a free initial consultation, we offer ongoing support, particularly after the course is finished to make sure students are confident to work with clients. Lots of people who would like to train often think they may be too old to start a new career - you are never too old is the answer! I have trained both male and female clients ranging from 14 - 83, one lady in particular began her training in her mid 60's and she still has a regular bank of clients, this was over 10 years ago. The tutors here are not only therapists who show you how to give a treatment, we have years of experience within the Industry. Our courses follow the National Occupational Standards (NOS), giving the student the most relevant professional training.  We are all PGCE qualified, experienced assessors, verifiers and examiners and have spent many years teaching in Further Education. We are very proud to have provided training to owners and their staff of many salons as well as college lecturers wishing to add to their skills.
