Our primary focus is Worship Music and Creative students attending or serving in local churches in developing countries who are not in a position to access highly specialised education. We help students explore and develop artistic and Creative talents for personal, ministerial, entrepreneurial and academic enhancements. All courses are bespoke and reflect the values and expectations of industry practice and mainstream education. We seek to prepare students to enrich and enhance worship through Music and the Creative Arts in the local church whilst being prepared for access to the global Creative sector. A stepping stone for emerging creatives and a hub for established professionals - we are a diverse, friendly community, situated in the heart of Canton. We do quite a bit. From affordable workshop membership for people of all abilities, to courses, events and artists' studios, we like to keep ourselves busy. And on top of that, we're also a small-scale screenprinting company, working with everyone from local creatives to public sector organisations, as well as community groups. Why? Simply put - we love print. And we want others to love it too. AstroCymru is passionate to raise pupil attainment levels by promoting the many different careers in the space industry from astronauts to various space scientists and engineers through various hands on workshops. Funded by the Welsh Government in 2013 AstroCymru started as project set up by Dr Paul Roche and Emma Wride as part of an outreach arm of the Astronomy Dept. at the University of S. Wales, delivering astronomy related workshops to schools across Wales. Further funding in 2015 allowed the project to expand and become part of the Physics and Astronomy Dept. at Cardiff University. Since 2018 AstroCymru has been a commercial company, continuing to deliver exciting and inspirational STEAM educational programmes to primary and secondary schools, festivals and public events.
