Hello! Welcome to our website! Who are we? In 2014 Imagine That Drama Classes began with a simple objective – to offer quality, affordable drama classes for the young people of Airdrie. Over the years our classes have grown from strength to strength and in 2020 we became Imagine That Performing Arts Ltd. Our own studios are now located in the most beautiful listed building at the heart of the community. Our students work with our qualified, experienced tutors from the performing arts industry as well as a range of industry experts from across the UK to reach their potential. Imagine That Performing Arts bridges the gap between ‘drama clubs’ and performing arts education. Our range of classes and the opportunities we offer ensure that all students needs are catered for, whether you are just looking for a new hobby or if you want to pursue a career in the arts. We pride ourselves in the opportunities we offer to our students. All students take part in regular productions, as well as theatre trips, casting opportunities, and masterclasses. Our students have gone on to star in TV shows, Hollywood films, and to pursue their dreams studying Music and Musical Theatre at university and college. He was the 2010 World Unequipped Powerlifting Champion.[1] Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he developed meningitis as an infant which severely affected his immune system and stunted his growth. As a result he was short and very underweight as a child. Rutherford began weight training after being bullied at school. In 1985, aged 15, and at a body weight of only 79 pounds (36 kg) he took up the sport of powerlifting. He competed as junior lifter until 1989. The 5 ft 6in personal trainer won 11 championship titles from 1986 to 1990 but then retired. In March 2007 he promised his nine-year-old son he would make an improbable comeback after watching the film Rocky Balboa, starring Sylvester Stallone, which was all about Rocky being older but making a ring comeback. In 2007 he achieved a silver medal at the European Powerlifting championships,[2] and then bronze at the 2009 World Championships. In 2010 he finally achieved his dream of becoming World Powerlifting Champion at the age of 41. He again won the World Championships for a 2nd time in November 2011. His Daughter Hayley Rutherford (15) and his son Ryan Rutherford(14) also won their respective divisions at the World Championships. The idea came about as Chantelle has always been a working parent and understands how difficult it is to make time for beauty and hair treatments. She wanted to produce a website that has a platform for both the beauty and hair  specialists themselves and for the customers wanting to fit in appointments around their busy schedules. After being let down by her new child-minder for the umpteenth time, Chantelle bit the bullet gave up her sales career and put her all into launching this business. Chantelle’s life time friend Lauren came on board in June 2018, after understanding and sharing her vision she chose to also focus on building The Beauty Click brand. Lauren too is a parent and has dealt with the stresses of fitting things in around her parenting and work life. Chantelle’s career has mainly been within the sales and business development sector and Laurens within childcare, but both have also worked in the beauty industry and have a strong passion to be able to help those that want to learn new skills and move into the hair and beauty realm. After putting their full focus into the growth of The Beauty Click, working tirelessly to put into action the many ideas they’ve had and continue to envision, as well as being full time parents. It hasn’t been an easy journey so far but has been both exciting and inspiring, they are passionate and dedicated to the success of the company and are proud of the entrepreneurs they have become. A lot of the values of the business are to help parents get into flexible work by providing training and then to assist with a customer base, the Beauty Click has proved to be perfect for this. Leading building and construction specialist, The JR Group, has launched a new scaffold inspection service as part of its new training services division. The service will provide a thorough seven-day scaffolding inspection in accordance with the Working at Height Regulations, 2005. The launch from the firm, which has more than 25 years of expertise in the field, meets massive demand from the sector, offering a fully compliant service to comply with SG4. As well as mandatory weekly scaffold inspections, the team will also provide one off inspections, independent scaffold inspections, Anchor Tie Pull Out Testing, PASMA aluminium tower inspections, advanced design structure inspections and incident and accident investigations. Expert advice on access solutions will also be on offer. All audits and inspection reports will provide detailed information regarding remedial works required within an appropriate timescale, complete with photographs. Ronnie Charters, HSEQ Manager for JR Scaffold will be leading with the new inspection service. He has more 30 years’ experience within the scaffold industry and is the current regional chair for Scotland / Northern Ireland for NASC. As the NCC / CITB access instructor / safety advisor for all National Construction colleges throughout the UK, Ronnie has been carrying out safety site audits and scaffolding weekly inspections for various clients throughout the UK and abroad for more than 20 years. Ronnie Charters, HSEQ Manager, said: “We are very excited to be able to offer this invaluable service to the industry considering the current high demand, and at the same time satisfying the shortage of accredited, competent personnel available to carry out this type of work. “The demand for this type of service is massive as there is a conflict of interest once a company erects a structure and carries out its own scaffold inspections. Introducing an impartial company to carry out audits and inspections provides peace of mind for all involved. “By using a service like this, it will ensure that all scaffold structures meet appropriate safety standards before first use, and they will be inspected at intervals of no more than the seven days until it is dismantled. It will inspect structures after extreme weather conditions, high winds or any other events likely to affect its strength or stability, as well as after any substantial additions or alterations or after any unauthorised or third-party interference. “We look forward to rolling this service out, providing much-needed support to the sector.” The JR Group employs around 200 staff and was founded in Govan in 1995. It started as a scaffolding business and is now one of the largest building and construction firms in Scotland. The business operates throughout Scotland and Northern England working on behalf of a number of the UK’s leading housebuilders, registered social landlords and private clients.

This means that not only will you receive the highest industry standard of learning, you will also have the complete & undivided attention from your own educator throughout your training day. Just you, your educator and the model. All models for your training will be provided by Peaches as part of the academy service, we will also carry out our own thorough consultation with the models along with our new Covid-19 screening consultation, keeping everyone safe and well. Scottish BPOC Writers Network (SBWN) is an advocacy and professional development group for Scottish or Scotland-based writers and literary professionals who identify as BPOC (Black people, People of Colour).* Contact us Frequently Asked Questions Membership Membership is free and open to any BPOC* writer or literary professional who is Scottish and/or based in Scotland and participates in our online or venue-based events or spaces, or publishing or literary opportunities. Membership may be extended to BPOC writers or literary professionals based outwith Scotland on occasion. Commissioned artists will typically be from the BPOC and/or SBWN communities. SBWN may work with volunteers, partners and allies who identify as BPOC, or white, or another racial or ethnic identity. Some events or activities may be open to the general public or the wider literary community. We have adopted a Constitution. Run by BPOC writers for BPOC writers, and informed by member surveys, consultation and feedback, SBWN uplifts, validates and provides safer spaces for marginalised voices, nurturing and promoting the current and next generation of Black and POC writers based in Scotland.
