The LLDC teamed up with A New Direction who run the Hub and bring this initiative to life for both young people and employers.  Young people can take advantage of the paid opportunities we publicise, the support we give for freelancers and start-ups, and industry connections we help foster through mentoring and networking, as well as sector specific careers advice and coaching. At the Good Growth Hub, all internship opportunities pay at least the London Living Wage of £11.95 per hour – but we strive for higher.  For businesses, the Good Growth Hub is an excellent resource to establish good working standards and to become more inclusive. Employers are able to both nurture and draw from a talent pipeline that’s eager to show what they can do. A Lively, Vibrant Space an art class in a studio in florence italy THE FLORENCE ART STUDIO The Florenceart.net studio is located in a charming ex-monastery, near the ancient town of Anghiari in southern Tuscany. Our independent artist's studio has been active for over 15 years and throughout this time we have produced many commissions and held courses with students visiting this historic region from all over the world. The studio was formerly on Via della Scala, in the historical Palace of the Riblet Bargagli Petrucci in the center of Florence, but moved in 2022 to the new location in the countryside. For those who cannot travel to Italy, we have new online videos for beginners or professional artists to learn art virtually. Classical and Contemporary OUR SPECIALITIES We specialize in antique artisan techniques and skills such as gilding, trompe l'oeil, grisaille, fresco, sgraffito, and grottesca decoration. We create artworks and decoration for interiors, harpsichords, and furniture. We produce fine furniture finishes and decorative art for the interior design industry worldwide. These are listed in the right-hand column. My professional development is continuing as I work towards Chartered Coaching Psychologist status. My professional career includes 9 years as a commissioned officer in the British Army, reaching the rank of major by 30 years old and fulfilling roles as an HR Director/Company Secretary of an infantry battalion (1st Battalion The Green Howards) on operations in Northern Ireland and Bosnia-Herzegovina. I led the first-ever British Army expedition to Lake Baikal, the World’s largest freshwater lake, in Siberia, Russia in 1995, lasting 3 months. After leaving the Forces, I held operations management roles in Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini and Accenture, before working for a number of boutique psychology consultancies, including Chimp Management, a company closely involved with various Team GB Olympic sports including cycling, swimming, taekwondo and canoeing. I am supervised by an EMCC and ICF-accredited supervisor. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, which compliments my skills workshops on managing stress and building resilience. For my own wellbeing, I enjoy running, hill walking and real ale, occasionally combining all three by taking part in mountain marathons followed by a well-earned break in a local pub to refuel and recover. I enjoy reading history and biographies (as well as psychology, it goes without saying!), and I try to keep my German and Russian above the level of embarrassed British tourist asking for directions to the beach.

Hi, I’m Angharad and I live in Hull with my husband Paul, our two boys Caden and Colby and dog Phoebe. Since having my sons, I longed for a career change that gave me more time with my family. With being in the hairdressing industry for 19 years I knew what I enjoyed most was working with people. After much research I found Tots Play. Not only had I found a class that appealed to me as a mother with all the variety it offered, but also made me excited at the thought of being able to help parents or carers develop their connection to their child with all the benefits baby massage, yoga, signing, music, movement and sensory play provides. I will also make sure you take away lots of fantastic ideas to carry on the fun times at home. Having my youngest in the first lockdown has shown me how important baby and toddler classes are, not just for little ones but for helping parents bond with their child, as well as building invaluable supportive relationships with others in the same situation.
