Although SkillsTEC is a newly formed company that started in March 2012, I have 30 years experience working in all areas of the access industry, including hire & sales and operation of all types of access equipment. Yes there is an industry accredited body that has been around since 1947 which is dedicated to promoting the correct use of steps and ladders. Disability TrainingBascule Disability Training, was founded by Chris Jay. Chris is a recognised and prominent voice on the topic of disability awareness. Born with cerebral palsy, Chris has been a wheelchair user for over 20 years, and is an accomplished training facilitator, public speaker, guest spokesperson and writer on the topic of disability awareness. Prior to launching Bascule Disability Training, Chris worked as a Training Facilitator and Project Manager for the disability awareness charity- Enable Me, where he developed and delivered training programmes for businesses, universities and schools. He was later appointed as the Executive Chairman of the charity for three years where he steered the organisation back to its core mission of helping to raise awareness of disability in local, educational and business communities. His role as a Disability Awareness Trainer has allowed him to develop considerable knowledge and experience in assisting and supporting businesses and universities to develop organisational awareness through unique and bespoke training packages. He has worked with various organisations in numerous areas of business such as the banking and finance sector, (including Coutts Bank) and in the retail, education and the hospitality industry (including Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton Universities). His support and staff development programmes, interactive modules and workshops have provided workforces with a firmer understanding of disability and its organisational benefits. Based in Southampton, Chris is a Director of Great Ballard School, near Chichester- an Independent co-educational prep school. He is also a Freeman of the City of London through the Worshipful Company of Educators and a member of the Chartered Management Institute.

I am self-taught ceramic sculptor. My passion for painting and sculpture began as a young child and is still my main obsession in life, a means of expression, my therapy, my greatest love. I add a quirky, sometimes humourus twist to my female forms and my animal sculptures. I work from my imagination preferring to avoid realism at all costs! My work is hand built useing coiling or slabbing techniques. After fireing my pieces are finished using crackle glaze, underglaze or stains which are wiped back to emphasise textures. I use grogged earthenware and stoneware handbuilding clay. I sometimes paint fantasy designs with acrylics and also teach in my home studio in Worcester. I am living my dream. My work has been exhibited in UK galleries including Guildford House, Birmingham, Bowes Museum, Gloucester, Wolverhampton, Worcester and many more. I also exhibit my sculptures at the annual Showborough House sculpture exhibition, Twyning, Tewkesbury. I have worked with different media over the years in the wedding industry making wacky bride and groom wedding sculptures. I was commissioned by the BBC to surprising chef Ainsley Harriott, with a caricature of himself on the TV show Ready, Steady, Cook. I have also discussed my huge, wacky sculptures on TV whilst exhibiting them in Bowes Museum, County Durham. A big thrill for me was being commissioned to create small sculptures to be photographed for the front cover of Vogue Italia. Another TV commission was lool a like clay figures for celebrities Matt and Emma Willis. I sculpted a large chocolate wedding centrepiece for actor/singer Gareth Gates.

Founded by Enterprise Causeway in 2015, its core purpose is to grow the creative industry and promote creativity within the community, using it to build relationships and connect people.   The idea for The Designerie was born during Christmas 2014, when Enterprise Causeway teamed up with local artists and crafters to make Christmas Trees out of recycled pallets at our industrial estate. We set up a workshop in one of our units at Enterprise Causeway and opened a pop up shop in The Diamond Centre in Coleraine. Now a gorgeous destination in Bushmills - we supports over 80 creatives on the beautiful North Coast. The heart of The Designerie has always been to create a space where people from various social and cultural backgrounds, with different interests, and of all ages can come together to be creative, make new connections and feel inspired. We have delivered this under our support for business and support for community. We want everyone who visits to feel part of the experience, so you can always expect just that when you call in to see us. Children's TV and Film School We are a part time TV and film school for children based at Pinewood Studios. We deliver a unique range of screen and film classes in a fun and practical way to 6-16 years. We are passionate about ensuring that children are well trained and we offer our students a huge wealth of opportunities to meet casting directors, directors, top coaches. We offer lessons, close to the new Shinfield Studios in Reading, on Sunday mornings from 10.30am until 12.30pm and close to Pinewood studios in Iver Heath on Tuesday evenings 5pm until 6pm We offer weekly acting lessons exclusively for TV and films. Ideal for beginners, our courses allow children to learn techniques that build their confidence in a fun and unique way. Children perform against green screens on a weekly basis. Every week we focus on a different style and scenario making these classes fun and highly interactive. Children will receive immediate feedback and at the end of each term their work will be showcased in a glamorous red carpet style premiere event for their friends and family. Children who are currently represented in the industry can learn techniques for onscreen acting. Multi-award winning Pigfoot Theatre tell stories about the climate and ecological crisis, with the least carbon impact possible. An associate company of English Touring Theatre (ETT), our work ‘practises what it preaches’ (The Sunday Times on Pigfoot) and protests within an industry which, in London alone, has a carbon footprint of 50,000 tonnes a year. Our bike-powered family comedy ‘How To Save A Rock’ has toured with ETT to Northern Stage and Theatre By The Lake, with Battersea Arts Centre & Found in Music, and with support from Slung Low to the Albany, Camden People’s Theatre, Poplar Union, the Pound Arts Centre, and more. HOT IN HERE (an energy-generating dance party), co-produced by the Gate Theatre, commissioned and supported by Camden People's Theatre, toured across the UK in Autumn 2022 to venues including Theatre by the Lake, York Theatre Royal, MAST Southampton, the North Wall Arts Centre, the egg Bath, mac Birmingham, ARC Stockton Arts Centre, Nonsuch Studios, and Contact Manchester. Our new show, Hostile Environments, supported by Boundless Theatre’s Accelerator programme, will begin development in 2023. We have also run workshops, delivered sustainability consultancy, and run engagement programmes for organisations including the National Theatre, Southbank Centre, Rambert, HOME Manchester, and Guildhall School of Speech and Drama. Pigfoot began in Oxford, producing site-specific work by the River Thames and at the Oxford Playhouse.
