Maureen Crosbie started Gallus Glass in 1999. She is a graduate of Glasgow school of art, originally studied Drawing and Painting but now works almost exclusively in glass. “I am influenced by history of Scotland, it's dominating natural history and landscapes, and by the tradition of historical stained glass work. I translating these into my own contemporary style. I have also recently become interested in the potential of painted and fused glass with the inclusion of found objects. I love the concept of freezing a moment in time, holding that thought and capturing the evidence of existence.” Maureen makes large stained glass windows on commission for private and public clients, but also sells smaller free hanging pieces priced to suit all pockets. "The glass has a huge range of possibilities of colour, intensity and texture and this can often dictate the design.” Maureen has recently made Gallus Glass her main focus. Having given up her art teachers job her daily commute is to her bespoke studio. "Making magic at the bottom of the garden."

SCFT/Rethink have published a freephone telephone number (0808 8010612). The helpline is running as a partnership between SCFT and Rethink Mental Illness. The mission of the Sheffield 24/7 under 18s helpline is to provide emotional support, advice and signposting for the children and young people of Sheffield. This service is run 365 days a year, including Christmas and bank holidays. This helpline is funded to support children and young people living in Sheffield, and/or registered with GPs in this area. It covers all ages up to 18. Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria Appropriate for support: Children and young people up to 18 Key issue is general emotional wellbeing Willingness to talk over the phone Keen to receive support and information on various services in the city that could support their needs The phoneline is NOT available for young people needing the following: To receive help in a crisis or emergency situation Medical advice on mental health support Medical prescriptions To speak with their designated worker at CAMHS To make a complaint about mental health services

The Feminist Library is a large archive collection of feminist literature, particularly Women’s Liberation Movement materials dating from the late 1960s to the 1990s. We support research, activist and community projects in this field. The Library is also an autonomous feminist community space. The Library is trans-inclusive, welcomes visitors of any gender, does not require registration or membership, and provides an intersectional, non-sectarian space for the exploration of feminism. Cartwheel Arts promotes social inclusion, cohesion, diversity and regeneration through community participation in vibrant, innovative, high-quality arts projects. We use a wide range of media to initiate, and respond to, project opportunities in Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Wigan and North Manchester, as well as promoting the development of the arts and examples of good practice across the North West. Cartwheel has over 35 years experience of promoting imaginative, and often challenging arts projects - we do not shy from confronting difficult or sensitive issues. Our focus is on participation, enabling people who may have had little experience of the arts to explore and develop their creativity and talents, generating a sense of ownership and pride. We currently receive contributions to our core funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and Greater Manchester Combined Authority. In addition we receive funds for projects from a wide variety of sources, mainly charitable trusts, but also local authorities, the NHS and other government departments.
