Black on Board's mission is to create a proliferation of non-white trustees,
governors, commissioners, non-executive directors and board members of the
governing bodies of UK organisations. The mission is to provide the skills,
confidence, motivation and knowledge required to be effective board members.
Black on Board's vision is of a UK with genuine diversity on the boards of
organisations. A world where boards are representative of their staff,
communities and the customers they serve. A world where having only one black
person on the board is seen as a sign of failure of said board.
